Sng of Solomon 2:1 - Sharon or field?

Hello,

I was checking a random verse on Textus-receptusbibles website and checked SOS 2:1.

Interesting all previous versions had field and KJB first to get Sharon.

Not sure if 1602 or later editon of Bishop's had it or not.

According to the commentaries: plain is in LXX.

The translators of the 1560 Geneva Bible gave an English rendering for the Hebrew noun "saron" while the KJV translators transliterated it, making it a proper noun.
