"My view is we got to do it our way; we did our best. We did some things well, some things not so well. Now, they get their chance. And I agree with the president. We owe them our loyalty and our silence while they do it. Because I know what it's like to have people chirping at you when they perhaps don't know what's going on inside. These are quality people. I know them. They love the country. And they won't make the same decisions, perhaps, that we did. But I believe they'll do what they think is best for the country and I'll give my advice privately and keep it to myself."

Condi has always shown a lot of class.

So it is class not to criticize the current President. I suppose that only applies if you support him.

That's why I was saying that she has too much. Some people have a lot of class, but don't say what they need to say. Some people have a perfect balance. Other's have no class (myself included) & say what needs to be said. Unclassy people in my book are more respectable, because you see their true thoughts & feelings versus someone who is trying to please evryone.

Libbies are all so predictable. When it's their guy, anyone who criticizes him has no class. Never mind all the gruesome Bush bashing for 8 years.:laugh::laugh:

What she said is she knows how it feels to be in the fire, doing your best and get nothing but criticism for your sacrifice. Never a prayer or a thanks, just criticism.

Wrong yet again. It is class and tradition for an outgoing administration not to criticize the incoming administration and not to criticize them within the first number of months, or perhaps ever, after the new administration takes office. To his credit Bush has held to that tradition as has Condi.

Chaney, of course, has broken that tradition. But then, why am I not surprised at anything negative Chaney does?

I was not wrong about anything. And your post fails to address mine that you quoted. I am not sure that has ever been applied to entire admins. But Carter and Clinton certainly failed that one.

You know some things, are better left unsaid.
And that it may be a good thing.
BTW, Obama's approval rating for the third straight week is at 69%.

Show me with proof where Carter or Clinton criticized the president who followed them within the first two months of the new administration.
