Should be "Famous people that may call themselves Christians". Not all on the list are Christians by any stretch of the imaginiation. A Christian is one that follows Christ and His commands. If I had a nickle for all the foul language and morally bankrupt behavior by some people on that list I'd be very, very rich.

I agree with John Bradford. "But for the grace of God go I"

If I become backslidden to a point that I'm a hinderance to the cause of Christ, then please don't call me a Christian.

I wasn't arguing against what you said. Just noting but for the grace of God I could be a secular christian in name person who makes a mockery of the faith was my intent. Note though there have been times in my life when my Christian witness was horrible. I thank God for his mercy that he gets me back on track.

Seriously? Most of the people on that list aren't Christians. Donnie and Marie Osmond are Mormons and Della Reese is a New Age nutjob.

Didn't Mel Gibson just have a child with his live in girlfriend?

Darren Daulton is another New Age whacko. Lately, he's been claiming that lizards talk to him and tell him the world is going to end. Seriously, when Lenny Dykstra says he's concerned about you and you need help, you need help.

Clay Aiken is an openly unrepentant homosexual. Bono's another New Age whacko. Same with Brennan Manning.

Sorry, can't take this list seriously.

he's part of some wacko fringe rcc sect, with some not christians beliefs.

The list lists mormons as christians, then I agree, it isn't to be taken seriously.

I'm not saying I consider all those listed are (born-again) Christians.
I just thought it was an interesting web page.

The other thought I have is those who are listed that truly are Christians - they are not very vocal about their Lord.

    Thoughts?

Kirk Cameron is on the list. He's pretty vocal. So is Frank Reich. The others seem to be the "I prayed a prayer because there was 'something missing in my life' and so now I'm a Christian" type.

Bob Larson isn't a Christian. He preaches enough false doctrines to sink a battleship.

I have never looked to Hollywood for Christian leadership nor looked up to any of them as heroes/heroans

Consider the following Christian family my all time heroes-----common folk like you and me-------no big screen nor tv screen for credential

the Ten Boom family from Holland, The Netherlands

Casper, Corrie, Betsy, Wiliam, and Nollie ten Boom
