Uh, isn't that a little bit overly general?

Could it be that we are always right?

Maybe if you go into detail about what annoys you, I can probably give you some insight as to why we do things the way we do it.

I've never found women annoying. Except for excessive nagging . But nagging is intended to be helpful.

I think you are right. There is an annoying Gene. And with men, it is a pool. We could go swimming in it.

Well for one thing, men don't answer some questions quickly. They don't say yes. They don't say no. It is almost like not wanting to commit either way.

    Why is that?

I spent a few years training men to "Make a decision, then make it happen!"

Too many men never are trained out of boyhood, and therefore never learn how to take charge, make decisions, and take responsibility.

I think some guys just want to keep their options open or like to remain neutral. However, that's not always the case. I generally will say yes, no, or I'm not going to promise. When I say "I'm not going to promise", I just mean that I may not want commit to going that route if I don't feel like it. Its just according to how I feel. However, when I do make a promise to do something (or just say that I will), I always believe in sticking to my guns everytime. I hope that helps a little.

I prefer to answer questions as quickly as possible though. I will say that there's nothing worse than a fence straddler.

I'll tell you why men don't answer... When we do women tell us that they weren't looking for an answer they were looking to vent.

When we don't answer, women say we are not communicating. :tongue3:

Besides, if you ladies have such a hard time putting the toilet seat down after we use it, why would you really follow our logic about anything else.

This is not a toilet seat issue. :saint: This kidney patient doesn't need to raise the seat.

It is probably a "keep your options open" situation.

Because he isn't usually a fence straddler (most of the time when he rides the fence, it's because he doesn't care, which is rare.) But when he does straddle, I want to fine my shotgun and blow him off.

He needs to make quick decisions when I ask him a question.
