has lost his job. we have no money, we have nothing, finding anyting with as much bring home pay will not happen around here, especially since he has no education. end of next month i'm going to have to turn off the internet and if he'll let me the cable too, heat will be our highest bill this winter, I'm going to have to keep it down by not turning the heat up, just enough to keep the water from freezing. i don't know how to cut the food bill, I refuse to eat the way I used too, high fat just because it's cheap, I refuse to gain my weight back I'll stop eating before I gain any of it back, I won't do it! i've lost so much I don't even have winter clothes.
i will not go back and live like we used to
and she just raised our rent this summer too

Donna, I have pretty much stopped posting here, but every once in awhile I will happen to pop in to read a post or two, and today did just that. When I read your thread I thought I would make an exception and post because I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to read about your bad news. I will pray that you and your husband find jobs that will provide you what you need. As hard as it is to do at times as these please try and not worry too much and continually place your trust in the Lord. I just recently was reading Matthew 6, and verses twenty-five through thirty four come to mind, and of course Philippians 4:6,7. Just try and always remember that God is able. Your family will be in my prayers.

Donna, I am very sorry to read your news and I will hold you up in prayer.
I can testify that we have been through some very hard times with jobs and finances and that the Lord always provided for us. In fact - we always had what we needed and a bit to share too. I am praying that the Lord will continue to bless and provide for you too.

    Blessings

Donna, I too am praying for your situation. Remember, where God guides, He provides. I've been in your boat, and still am concerning employment. Good news is there are now 79 weeks of unemployment if you are in a high unemployment state. While this will not meet all of your needs, it will give you something to budget off of.

So sorry to hear this, Donna! :tear:
But by the time his unemployment runs out, either you or he will have a job. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows! Praying for you today ...

Donna, I'm sorry to hear this. My own work has fallen off considerably. What kind of work does your husband do? I know you have said that you live in the south, but what part? Is there any work outside of your area that a long commute could take him to? I know others in straits similar to yours. I'll add your name to this group for prayer.

He works in a concrete factory, they make those lawn ornaments, statues, flower pots. Being uneducated theres not much else he for him, and nothing even a commute would help.
We ar ein south central ky, but I took that off my profile becuse people here were insulting me because of where I lived.
Thanks for the prayers,we believe we'll be fine, we have a plan, and if all goes well we'll be alright.
My husband talked to our son tonight and told him about it, and of course the kids are worried about us, but he told him not to worry, we have a plan, and moma knows how to adapt to anything, wow, didn't knwo he thought about me, didn't know thats what I do. I told him I was borg, and I adapt, lol, I know not everyone will get it.

Is it the same in the States as in Canada, that it is easier for a woman to get a job these days?

    Cheers,

    Jim

It seems so, Jim. I suppose it depends on what type of work one is seeking ...

    Donna, Praying her also.

This was no surprise to God, and I'm confident He has a plan, a good plan, and He's been ready for this from eternity past.
