Eight Simple rules

I loved the show, and was saddenned by Ritter's death. The rules are absolutely hilarious!

 

We have similar rules, all of which involve a shotgun.

There is a great scene in the movie The Cheyenne Social Club which starred Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda. Near the end when they are expecting an attack, Jimmy Stewart is walking the halls carrying a rifle. He hears crying from one of the rooms. He barges in and discovers that one of his girls (i. e., his employees) has received a proposal of marriage. He steps outside to talk to the young man while still holding the rifle. When the guy tries to go back in the room, Stewart tells him that he will have to wait until after the wedding. He complains, but he leaves. I thought it would be great to do the same (i. e., hold a rifle) when meeting some of my daughters' dates. As you might suspect, they were not thrilled by the idea. :laugh:
