Interesting thing. When I went to the urgent care, they gave me Avalox as an antibiotic for whatever I had...... with side effects that I already had!! I have taken it before.

I guess laughing over fruity pebbles is better than crying...there's a tear in my beer cause I'm crying for her deer.

I have a day mostly at home (have ballet at 4:30 today for my youngest and then the kids are at church at 7) and the house is well-cleaned from yesterday and dinner is already prepped and ready to go! Woo-hoo!! Today I'll do laundry and clean the bathrooms but otherwise, it should be a good, easy day. I'll homeschool and maybe do some work on the church website. Ahhhh - LOVE it.

    Reveille. Grrrrr......

The Great Tomato Experiment is not going well. I might try cherry tomaters next, but growing regular big ones in a pot on the back porch? Not working out well.

I'll have to sit down and write today. There are a few articles due by tomorrow and I haven't even got the information on one of them.

Found a bath and body works yesterday...yum! I got three body sprays - coconut lime verbana is my usual so I had to replenish that one first, then I got midnight pomegranite and SENSUAL AMBER! Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh Gotta love it when they try to imply that something like the scent of tree sap is a turn-on. It smells wonderful, but so far, my husband hasn't come up and nuzzled against me saying "wow honey, you smell just like a coconut, or is that tree sap?" In reality, he sneezed and kinda choked and said he wasn't big on scents. Not very sensual. I should write to the company. (I'm still gonna wear it sometimes because it smells so stinkin nice!)

Gina - I thought I'd share with you the text I just got from my daughter:

"YOU DID THIS TO ME! Oh look at the pretty flower. there are flies that are being killed in africa! :'(
    ahahahaha"

LOL - The "you did this to me" is referencing the fact that she most likely has PCOS and is dealing with one of the effects of that - and would have gotten the PCOS from me. I can't put what it is here because of the topic but let's just say I had to get MORE supplies for her last night. ;)

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

It is 56 and sunny here, headed for a high of 60 today, but Friday is supposed to be 77!!!

Not much going on here. We've all been fighting various forms of the flu, and Brenda's been down with migraines a few times [fortunately she got on top of them in time].

Brought home some doughnuts this morning, I gave one to London and she looked at it and broke out crying. Finally got her calmed down and figured out that she's probably never had a doughnut before, so she didn't know what it was.
Good thing she can't talk that much, and hopefully can't remember much of her past, I shudder to think of what the kid has seen and lived through.

Working out in the yard as weather permits. Never had a yard this big before.

Are you going to be a Census Worker Cuz? That'll keep you out of trouble for awhile.

Time to go in and help Walmart make payroll for the week.

LOL! Are you SURE these kids aren't related?!
Speaking of supplies, funny thing yesterday. The 10 yr old boy child of the house went shopping with me last night and grabbed a box of colorful supplies and said "hey cool, these are neat!" (they were colorful) We were at the store on base and there are all these guys in uniform, so instead of bringing attention to it, I let him stand there and play for a minute as I looked around, figuring he'd lose interest before anyone really noticed and set them down, but nooooooo. He continued exclaiming over them and all the different colors, then he asked me what they were. They got set down very quickly and quietly and he then went to go look at dog treats. I now have ammunition for when he starts dating...

$1.50 between shopping on base and having a coupon. It's a pretty awesome deal to be able to shop there. It has helped our family immensely. The only drawback is that I end up spending at LEAST two hours there because I don't know what's on sale or what they have new or no longer carry until we get there, so I plan the meals based on that and on matching the sales with the coupons. (no fliers) It's also really interesting to note how much or how little profit off-base stores make off certain products, once you know the at-cost price of stuff.

HAHAHAHAHA! Do you know how much trouble I can get into when they let me out in public??? If they do. I think they were a little offset when I asked what the policy was on weapons.

:D Just kidding. I haven't asked that question. Yet. One thing they have learned for certain. Cindi ain't shy and she has opinions!!

Yes and it smell WONDERFUL just like Gina says. It is my fav scent and one of the few I can wear that my body chemistry doesn't throw off. Nor does it bother anyone's allergies or migraines (one of the few!).

Need to clean the bedroom and do laundry. I DON'T WANNA! I'm supposed to be writing a little article on how Oreo cookies are made, but the link Kraft sent me on the email was wrong. So now I'm sad. I might have to go buy a package of Oreos and dunk them to feel better. It's a tough job...

But hey, I can get everyone's sheets washed a day earlier than normal. Yippee! not

Hm. It's a rainy day here in OK. Wait, it's sunshiney. Wait, it's not. Wait, it is...no it isn't!

I woke up five minutes before the alarm clock and was able to make hubby a decent breakfast. It's always nice to be able to do that!

My poor tomato plant experiment is looking a little sadder every day. I might have to figure out something else to help it along. If the energy is there, I've got one more little area to set up for planting today, then it'll all be done. Yay! Hope everyone's day is going beautifully. :flower:

Well, it was another beautiful Sunday! The music today focused on God's Holiness and our praise for that holiness, and the message came from Revelations. We've been going through that book for a while now, and it's very interesting!

Time to go see if I can squeeze in some writing, then make our regular Sunday lunch/dinner meal and head off to choir practice. It really is sunshiney today, and STAYING that way!

It is NOT sunshiney here today! I was supposed to go work for a while this pm and my work area is right around my house. I could have gotten a ton done, but its pouring rain AND,

3 kids woke up sick. Jenna's allergy attack that she's been fighting since about Thursday has decided to settle in her chest. Chris performed Friday and Saturday evenings, most school he's done in weeks, but today it all hit the fan and he's up in his room with all the lights and noise off again. And poor Cass. She managed to twist her ankle badly on Friday. She insisited on performing Friday and Saturday as well but she is down for the count as well today. She and Chris were supposed to perform today too, but it didn't happen.

    Ah well, tomorrow's another day!

Well, today was HOT and we cleaned the garage. Of course we still can't fit the cars in there yet but a lot of what's there will be Freecycled or thrown out - or moved to the shed (which will be next week's project) so soon enough, we should be able to get both cars in there. :)

So now DH and I are shot. The littles will be in bed soon and DH and I will be heading there as well. We're so tired that we were yawning all through dinner! The older two girls should be home around 9:30 or so (in about 30 minutes) after going to church for the college ministry service that is held once a month.

    So until tomorrow.....:wavey:

    Welcome to Monday everyone!

If you haven't, gotten dressed for the day, carried kids to school, done the check book, gone to a morning meeting, eaten breakfast, paid the bills, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, loaded the dryer and the washer, made your bed, cleaned your room, talked to your child's school, made a doctor appointment and fed at least half of your critters YOU'RE SLACKING! Get out of bed already!

Yep ^^^that^^^ was my morning and it is only 10:15! I have more stuff to do when I decide to get back up, which I would do but I'm posting and talking on the phone at the same time and the cordless phone stayed off the charger all night!

Its a good thing I woke up cheerful and with plenty of energy this morning! :D

    Ya'll have a good day!

ROTFL - By 10:15 I had: showered. The end.

Seriously today was a VERY late start and it continues. I was doing my quiet time after my shower when my ILs called and asked DH and I both to get on the phone. It seems they want to take hubby, myself and the two littles on a cruise to Bermuda for a week! Where's the fainting icon?? WOWZA!! So we've been on the phone checking to see whether we could do it with church obligations (work - we're both employed there) which we can, finding out our daughter won the runner-up scholarship at church and we won't be able to be there when she receives it and finally checking out what sort of passport we need to do the trip. Now it's 12:15 and I have only washed one load of laundry and I have not even put it in the dryer. :) Oh - I never finished my quiet time either! But it's exciting! I'm going on a cruise where I don't need to clean the toilets!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Ooooohhhh, sounds fancy schmancy! A crooz...

I accomplished going to the eye doctor, where my husband seems to have been under the impression that I was on the verge of kicking someone during the exam. (it wasn't pleasant) I have to admit my gut said "it hurts, do what you must to make it stop," but just because my knee went up and my hands clenched...right? LOL

It is sunshiney again. Sorry mk! I wish it wasn't, cuz my pupils are the size of a cruise ship.

I'm doing a total rearrange on the kitchen, so maybe I'll go finish that. Hubby passed out tired, so there's not much else to do but clean, as my eyes are about to give out on this computer.

Wow, the air is heavy out here! We had a string of tornadoes, but none of them hit our town. There's a wicked old witch in town and I thought for sure a house would drop on her, but everyone lived to see another hot, muggy day.

I bought this little makeup kit that has tools in it. I don't know what they are, but I'm trying to learn. Did you know they make brushes just for your eyebrows?! If you're a woman who needs a brush just for your eyebrows, do us all a favor and SHAVE THEM OFF! I don't wanna see that. Ew.
