Not sure if that is the link you intended but I read just the other day that many places in Israel have huge Arab Christian communities. Nazareth for example has a population of 20k + and mainly Arab Christians. May God bless the Arab nation.

Another interesting thing is that apparently only 15% of people that make up islam are Arab.

A number of Arab Christians from various places, including Nazareth, have studied at the Baptist seminary in Prague. The ones I know are wonderful young people. They live in Israel, but are discriminated against. Their faith costs, but they are very firm in their faith.

That's great to hear. Their religion seems to be the Orthodox faith, icons, special clothes etc etc etc. Should we worry about that?

The Arab Christians I have met who live in Israel were all Baptists. I have not met those who are Orthodox, so I cannot speak to your question.

I am not familiar enough with Orthodoxy to make a comment. My guess is they are not Greek nor Russian Orthodox. They may be a part of the Oriental Orthodox Church.

We rely on our own symbols whether we realize that others might view them as symbols ... i.e. collection plates, a cross, a single pulpit, two pulpits, a choir loft, a communion table, etc. This is an interesting area to think about for a bit.
