    Good Morning Everybody,

Right now it is 9 degrees, headed for a high of 15 today. We have about an inch of snow on the ground.

We have a Winter Storm Warning for Tuesday and Wednesday though. The experts have forecast 4"-6" inches of snow for Tuesday, and another 6"-8" of snow for Wednesday and these snow totals do not include the result of high winds and drifting either.

I know compared to the 30" that some of you got this is really nothing, but it'll be enough to keep us busy for the next few days.

Glorious weather this past weekend. Worked on an Eagle Scout project on Saturday morning -- working at a local preschool & church. A lot of work, but had about 70 scouts and parents show up. On Sunday after church, we had our annual picnic.

And now they are forecasting 5 to 10 inches Tuesday/Wednesday on top of our 30 inches!

I'm not sure when I will be able to go anywhere!

Just heard on the radio that it's supposed to be closer to a foot or a little more where we are.

Yes, they changed it now to 10 to 20 inches!! This would give us 50 inches of snow. :tear:

I can't go anywhere at all and we've had no mail since Friday. I was expecting some things! Not sure when we will get mail again - it's almost impossible to get onto the street I live on from the other street although the main roads are not bad (according to my son who has been out today driving).

But with the extra snow - we'll be back at square one.

Tell me again where in MD you are, JDF? The towns you mentioned mean nothing to me. Are you in Western MD or towards Baltimore or what?

It's in Kent County, right on the Bay. We're about an hour from Annapolis by water. It's usually easier to go to Annapolis or B'more by boat than to drive.

We're snowed in now. We're so far out in the country that they don't plow our roads. Probably won't be going anywhere for at least a week.

Many of our neighbors are without power.

We're probably going to go sledding this afternoon.

It's supposedly going to snow here again tomorrow. If it does it will be twice this winter. I havn't seen snow here in probably 15 years, maybe 3 or 4 times in my life. It's been an unusually cold winter. We're usually in t shirts around Christmas.

Y'all get busy and clean up that mess. madre and I are heading for Elkton come Monday. Seeing we didn't have to contend with snow at home we certainly don't want to travel south to find it.

Elkton? Did you lose a bet or something?

If you're going to Elkton, make sure you go to Northeast and go eat at Woody's.

Okay, thanks. I've heard of Kent County.

We had a blizzard yesterday - I guess you had the same one. It dumped several more inches on the snow we had. At least we didn't lose power!

I'm going to be brave and try to go out tomorrow. :wavey:

We should be getting snow today from the system that just came/is coming through Texas and the deep South. I doubt we get much accumulation from it, but it should snow off and on all day and into tonight.

I've been hearing about the snow in DC. A friend of mine recently moved there from Florida. :p She now wonders if the new job is worth it.

There is a silver lining to the blizzard(s) in the mid-Atlantic region......

The federal government in Washington DC has had to curtail a lot of its activity for at least a while!!

We haven't had a break from the weather all week, and they are calling for more snow this weekend. I want spring! All this frozen gloom is making me depressed and irritated.:BangHead:

We have a little over 2 inches of snow here in Atlanta, and it's still snowing.

We do some antique shopping in North East. We'll have to try Woody's. Had a burger in Elkton that was out of this world. Can't remember the name of the place but I can drive to it.
