I miss my people

    I haven't seen anyone from my extended family since 2006 and today I'm feeling just a bit sappy about it. I'd love to hug my Mom, see my newest neice, and converse with my grandparents.

    So today I'm whispering a special prayer for all of them, that God will hug them for me. Then I'm going to go trim the grape vines and get my mind moving in a different direction.

    Which, if anyone wants to come trim my grape vines for me today, I'd give you a pineapple upside down cake in appreciation. I've been told it's the best doggone upside down cake this side the Danube, just so you know.

    That hugging via the Holy Spirit could be a new term in the world of Christian lingo. Holy Hugs. Not to be confused with holy Huggies, which is more of a diaper-changing exclamation.
