Is this the book by Clark Pinnock? If so, the book is good, but BEWAREof Clark Pinnock and of recommending him to people. Since that book was written he has veered severely from truth and perhaps even from the faith itself.

Lee Strobel wrote a The Case For Faith and The Case For Christ. I hear them mentioned on the radio daily but I never have read them.
If you want to read a critique here is the site. Hope you find what you want... Brother Glen http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/paul_doland/strobel.html

Just for clarification, Tyndale's first critique is published on a site run by self described athiests, humanists, agnostics and metaphysical naturalists.

Both books are absolutely excellent books. I loved them and they help me grow stronger in my spiritual walk. The case for Christ gives a very solid presentation of the practical and factual side of the gospel leading to only one choice in the end: Faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and God the Son.

I love both books, "The Case for Faith" and "The Case for Christ". The problem is, they're written with believers in mind. They're not written in a manner that's necessarily convincing for nonbelievers.

The best testimonies for nonbelievers is the testimony of those who came to Christ on their own. Case in point: If Dog the Bounty Hunter ever wrote a book that chronicles his coming to Christ, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it would lead a lot of people to the Lord. I'm sure there are many other examples.

LOL Gina - Yeah, I was like "HUH" when I saw 2002! That was when my 2nd grader was born!

Yep - Lee Strobel's books are great. He's a former athiest who was saved and he's solid. Good stuff.

Disappeared might be an accurate word. I ended up getting a number of them, which were then mailed to unbelievers that were on this board. If you were here then, you remember the atheist bunch that flocked in!

Never heard anything from any of them either. One tried to be amusing and gave me a false Australian address so that I spent a lot of money on the fast shipping. Other than that, the other books reached their destinations.

    e-Vangelism. It's always a trip!
