Kyredkneck...
Not at all. Born and raised here. On another discussion site for banjo players.. (I play the banjo, as well as guitar and dobro)..I have a signature at the bottom of my posts that says "I feel sorry for all the people who dont get to live in Kentucky"
They are not. But I've never known anyone who has a gun on their person ALL THE TIME. Do you have lots of enemies who want to "take you out" or something?
Do you know of a person who has pledged to assaninate you two, or somthing?
I mean, I have no problem with having a gun for personal protection, but I've never heard of anyone who is armed 100% of the time...except for police officers.
Well, you have that right, of course.
If Bin Laden walks in you will be there to "take him out".

My wife and I are both licensed concealed carry, and that for very good reason.

[edit] ...and the reason I choose to carry the North American Arms .22 mag mini-revolver is solely because of it's small size; I ALWAYS HAVE IT ON ME (even at Church [gasp]).
