I love Palin and everything she stands for. She 100% represents what I believe should be everything we as American citizens should stand for.

I have the opposite opinion of Goslin. I've watched the show about her and her family a few times. The first time I watched it I was appalled at how she treated and spoke to her husband.

By the second time I watched it I wondered if maybe two of the kids were having a bad day and especially the one, because I have NEVER seen a child that annoying!

The third time I watched it was their trip to New York. She annoyed me supremely and the child that had been so annoying before was exactly the same...ungrateful about everything, rude, snippy, and all I could think of was "poor kid takes after her mother!"

So these families camping together? WHY? I think one of two things will happen.

    1. Palin will be a good influence.
    2. Goslin will "accidentally" get eaten by a bear.
    3. (because I failed math) Palin will realize that most Americans are a whole lot like Ms. Kate and she'll be so horrified when she realizes the truth about what this nation has come to that she'll run for cover and stay where life is normal (in Alaska) instead of running for president.

And that would be a shame. (number three, not one or two)

Well, I was listing what might happen, not reasons for why they're doing it.

    *spoiler below*

Unfortunately there apparently wasn't time for Ms. Goslin to accidentally get eaten by a bear before she gave up and (again unfortunately) Palin didn't smack her, although it sounded like she wanted to. I was ROFL...can't wait to watch it on television. I am dying to get the visuals on the "hotdog" scene!

Reality television is like a all-you-can-eat buffet. The audience is never satisfied with the status quo.

Sarah Palin’s Alaska” saw a major drop in ratings after its first episode aired...

That happens with a lot of shows where the star is well known.
Think Letterman, Conan O'brien ect ...
