Well, Salt!! To tell you the truth---there was no message in the video of the change that must be brought about by the Lord Jesus Christ---the Lord Jesus was never mentioned---only change brought about by human effort and not be the life of the Lord Jesus being lived out THROUGH the life of a surrendered believer in Him

I heard the late Dr. Adrian Rogers say something along the lines(I don't remember the exact quote)---that---the worst form of human badness is human goodness when its substituted for the goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now you asked---and I suppose I will get a ear full of flak about the wrong I just wrote about human goodness outside of the Lord Jesus has no eternal power----IOW---all of the group settings in the videos and the committments made there---will probably last only until the next altercation each individual meets w/o the merits of the Lord Jesus

Salt-----I'm not saying the little girl wasn't a Christian----nor would I even imply that

What I am saying it----the way the video was perceived----as human efforts to "better" one's self----see what I'm saying???

If I remember correctly, Dr Dobson had her parents on his radio show, as they were committed Christians. The ideal Rachel had is excellent, but as other moved it forward, they apparently left Christ out of it.
Yes, Bb, I see exactly what you mean - it currently is a "human effort" when it was created as a testimony for the Lord. :tear:
