Just a reminder to be like Pooh and "think, think, think."

I'm making this my new motto because people misunderstand what I say by not reading or I misunderstand what they say and forget to stick my head in my honey jar being replying and being not so nice.

LOL! I'd say it isn't so but then I'd be lying and have even more to repent of.

But since you're a guy and some on here say women should obey men in spiritual matters, is it my obligation to obey and say it isn't so? :tongue3:

    "Please Pooh before you post"

I think things are getting way too personal around here....

This place shot way past "too personal" more than a couple years ago.

I have found it well worth while to NOT post when someone has steamed you up, you may post something you regret later.

Also, the nature of the ethernet is that you cannot see the person "talking" and from personal experience it is too easy to offend with intent due to this and to cultural background. A case in point "irony".

The use of some words seem to be very offensive in some places and not at all in others.

Ha! Ha! I'm not one of those guy's, in situations such as this.

It just hurt to see you are like all the rest of the gals. None are perfect, and should repent for letting us guys down. The gals don't hold us guys in such high esteem, so we don't have to repent of anything we say, for we are already doomed.

Now that you put it that way...

I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY! I repent with a symbolic tear in the sleeve of my shirt and pour oreo cookie dust over me to resemble ashes. Forgive me, please. PLEASE!

PS: I hold the men here on BB in pretty high esteem. So much so I married one. I'll always be grateful to this board for helping lead the way to my sweetheart.

In other words, your not looking for an "Ahhhhh Duh" moment which could reflect on IQ record. Smile, I totally understand

May God look after him. Goodness gracious alive. Look what you have done now. My sweetheart shares the cookie dust, dusting our ice cream.

So not a trip to the "rest room" as you call toilets in America!

I think, think, think that the "think, think, think" quote must be from the Walt Disney film version. I don't remember it from the original A. A. Milne book, which my mum used to read to me as a little boy.

I agree wholeheartedly. And I think those of us who are Americans are some of the biggest offenders.

Here is another story (I love to tell stories {especially the "Old,old Story} but this one is from Germany. I had a LN (local national) working for me in my Army Supply warehouse. One day two of her friends came in to see her, and all three spoke in English. After they left, I asked Mrs. Muller why they did not converse in German. I just loved her answer "I did not want you to think we were talking about you" Such a sweet lady. Maybe we all can take a lesson from Mrs. Muller.

I hereby apologize for ever having offended anyone in any way in any of my posts. This apology covers all past, present, and future posts as I'm sure to offend, whether by accident or on purpose, those reading my non-pooh-poohed nonsense.:tonofbricks:

:laugh:Didn't Pooh state he was a bear of very little brain!!!

My dear teddy has a head stuffed with straw...it was very traumatising when one of his eyes fell out and mum was going to get around to doing an eyeplasty.....when straw started coming out through the hole...

mum did an emergency eyeplasty and some serious consolation therapy by way of a hug and a kiss to a small daughter...

It's stories like this...the memories of a daughter of an event that meant nothing to anyone else but are priceless expressions of a mother's true nature....these are the stories that bring happy tears.

What a precious memory! Err, not of the poor one-eyed teddy, but of the sweet mama's loving consolation!
