    Hello all,

I am writing to ask all brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for my wife. She is 10 weeks along and is experiencing some things that might indicate a miscarriage. She had one last year at 6 weeks right around this same time (last year on her birthday and this year 5 days away from her birthday). Please pray for her in this very difficult time.

    Thank you all

Praying here! I also had miscarriages (two of them) and then had bleeding in the next pregnancy. It is so scary to go through.

Thanks all. It's tough webdog and I hope all will work out well for you. Thank God, the ultrasound was just done and the baby is fine. It is a nagging hemorrhage known as subchorionic hematoma. The Dr. said it was gone last week so when bleeding came, it is really something scary. Hopefully, it will go away on it's own and it might be time to find a new doc.

It could be that there is no longer a hematoma but there is still blood oozing from the area. It won't pool under the placenta but it instead will leak straight out. It could be that is what is happening. It's most likely not anything that the doctor would have been able to predict.

But I'm so glad the babe is OK right now. It's so scary seeing that blood - I totally understand that. Make sure your wife gets plenty of fluids and rests for a time. I'll still keep praying.

Yeah, maybe overreacting about new doc. But they said it was still there so I don't know. It is scary for sure. Thanks again all for your prayers.

What could have even happened then is that the bleeding had stopped then restarted. It's hard to tell. But when they did that one ultrasound, it might have been drained at that point but refilled since then. The uterus is a tricky thing. ;) I don't know the size of the hematoma but I'm hoping it's small and will not cause further trouble to that placenta.

    Is this your first child?

    Yes, and no.

I am a step father to 3 little girls who have become my own. Hoping for a boy, but will be blessed and completely happy with a healthy boy or girl.

Maybe you'll get what we got - an ultrasound of a girl - girl all the way through the pregnancy until HE came out!! LOL He's now 10 and an absolute joy. We had two girls before him and one more at the tail and life is wonderful!
