Wow! I love the symmetry of 100 lbs. lost. But in only 8 months? That's incredible. Nicely done.

    Way to go, Dr Bob!

I've been doing the same thing lately, only to a lessor degree.

I was getting close to 200 a while back, which for my physique is WAY too big.

I'm down down to 180 now

I just chose to eat better, and I took up bicycling

Thank you all. I am exceedingly proud of the loss. 100 lbs is a LOT

    To answer some queries:
    1. I watched the wife lose weight on a new diet. Cheap. Lousy food but she lost (after years of dieting, weight watcher, then yoyo back up). I knew there was something that worked.

    2. I was about 310# since 2003 when wheel-chair bound with my disease. As I learned to walk, I still did no exercise and ate a staple diet of ice cream, cheetos, etc

When I spent a week in Seattle and week on Alaskan cruise I ate like always. Came home at 320#. Decided at that point to "bite-the-bullet" as she was going to go back on the program to lose the lbs she'd gained in our travels.

    3. We use hypothalmupar (mimics HCG but total cost is $16 for everything) and use the HCG diet rules the clinic established. Feel free to go by www.phr.net and click on the diet and pdf four pages of the plan.

Going to have to take a new pix of the wif for the clinic page.

    4. As to how I feel? My disease is still slowly killing me (praise God for "slowly"). But far more active. Far more energy and enthusiasm. Far less pain. In September in Seattle/Juneau I still used a cane and could barely walk a block and then in horrific pain; yesterday I walked 3 miles.

So if a 63 year old, 6'6" and 320# old cripple like me can lose, it MUST be a good (and easy to follow) program.

Here are a couple candids from Christmas 2009. Teresa started her diet in March 2010 and I joined end of September 2010. You can see we NEEDED a diet that worked!
