Baby elephant video!

    This baby is SO adorable and I was blessed to be allowed to go behind the scenes to get a video and some photos for this story. This was about the best moment in my life...I love animals and my birthday present to myself back in May was to go to the zoo just to see Malee, who was even tinier then!

Still, the video speaks for itself. After the video there's a photo of her and some other animals from the OKC zoo, followed by photos from other places in Oklahoma affected by the heat wave.

    Yep, they had everyone submit names and then there was a vote. She is Malee, pronounced May-Lee.

    I saw another video of two baby elephants and that same kind of pool a few weeks back. They are so goofy in the water! LOL

    Some poor lady commented on how horrible it was that the elephant appeared to struggle and could have drowned. I explained this wasn't the case and really hope she understood. I love animals and would never have posted a video of an animal not being taken care of, unless it was to get help for that animal. This baby was having FUN and surrounded by caretakers.
