    Van, has someone mentioned Kittel's Theological Dictionary of the New Testament?

    Some of the contribution is from neo-orthodox writer(s) but the historical data is very good.

    It is pricey and a large set of 10 volumes (at least that is the size of mine).

    Haven't checked but it probably is on disk media by now.

    Hi Hank, the link I posted was supposed to reflect kettel's work to some degree. John of Japan thought not.

    I compared their definitions for logos and rhma to Thayer's. Identical.

    LOL, two entries demonstrates no update? Very thorough!

    Why not look for a known difference between Kettel's work and the NAS Lexicon?
    It says what it says.
