I have always been a Bruce Springsteen fan, and the album I love the best is the most wretched thing. It is the "Seeger Sessions" and it refuses to play most of the time. It was some fool new technology which is not good.

Incidentally Anastasia, what is a HinJew?, and are you Amish?

Bruckner's Symphony No.4, played by the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Not quite the same as Bruce Springsteen, but good. :)

A Hinjew is someone who is Jewish and Hindu or half and half. It is from a character on the comedy web series The Guild. This show is about a gaming guild and stars Felicia Day, a super cool geek woman of awesomeness. One of the members of the guild had a Jewish parent and a Hindu Indian parent. I thought this term was funny.

I am not Amish, nor am I a rare ex-Amish poster. I just say that because if I really was following an Amish life, I wouldn't be on the internet. Not sure how the Mennonites feel about the internet. Interestingly, the Old Believers of eastern Russia have a similar (to the Amish) anti-technology take on life even though they come from an Orthodox background and separated from the main Russian Orthodox church only 27 years prior to the Amish church's founding-no connection, but both 17th century lives.

Yeah, I have my own sense of humor sometimes. Flower?:flower:

I just heard Steven Curtis Chapman's Invitation. It was nice.

I also recently discovered Abeer Nehme who I thought was really talented. She graduated with the highest marks ever at some university for oriental music and performs old hymns, ethnic music, etc.

Thanks Anastasia for the explanation. I had thought that if you WERE Amish, it seemed out of place to be in the ether. So you have a weird sense of humour......good!!!!

I had to put my occupation recently on a form and I thought it inappropriate so .....I am a butterfly wrangler....if you need any butterflies herded up:smilewinkgrin:.

I have a broad love of music, checked out David Lamb's Bruckner symphony he has been listening to. I trawl You Tube for didgeridoo music which I love....its that bone deep vibe that gets to me. Drumming can be pretty good to.

I have listened to Brian Eno.....Here come the Warm Jets, Capturing Tiger Mountain and Green World whilst ironing a mountain of liturgical linens today.
