IMO here are the top 5 sport stories of 2011

    #5 Pujols to LA
#4 Card come from behind to win WS
    #3 Red Sox collapse
    #2 NBA strike
    #1 Tim Tebow

I would find it interesting to see your picks. You have probably noticed that I am a baseball fan.

Comment I feel that TT career as a NFL QB is short lived, however I think he would make a good WR.

He'd make a better RB before he'd make a good WR.

InTheLight, you'll likely be shocked to find that I agree with your list.

    Ahhh....shucks.

Did you see the Dr. Who Christmas special? Overall I liked it (I suppose I'd give it an 8 out of 10) and it was written by Moffatt.

I agree but I might amend #2 to include the other child abuse/sports stories, but Penn State is the most egregious.

And being a boxing fan, I'd add the death of Smokin' Joe Frazier :tear:

I am not putting these in a 1-5 category, just the five biggest sports stories of 2011:

    Penn State/Jerry Sandusky scandal

Albert Pujols to LA od Anaheim Angels

    "Smokin'" Joe Frazier passing

Green Bay Packers(from wild card to super bowl champs, to 19 game winning streak)

Uconn's 11 game winning streak to win NCAA BB championship(5 wins in Big East tourney, 6 wins in NCAA tourney{beating my beloved UK Wildcats in the Final Four}) to win it all.

I did. I was a bit underwhelmed by it, maybe a 7 out of 10.

"Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp". Was Ireland's nets bigger than Englands? Is this why they caught more "crickets" than England did? Oh wait. That that "pseudo" baseball game. I know, Brother Roger, that cricket is older than baseball. J/K ya Brother!!
