What is the Policy of BB Regarding Members with Two Screen Names?

None of us pay to post on BB. You don't like the rules, start your own list. Anyone can do it for free on yahoo, last time I looked.

From administering my own web site forum I know that the moderators have some behind the scenes tools that they can use to deflect this sort of issue. Every poster can be searched by DNIC number and they can be banned at that level. That would mean that they also have to switch computers in order to have dual user accounts.

Someone would have to be either desperate or have computer troubles before resorting to that level.

Oh, and I've used the DNIC lookup to actually catch someone who was trashing our site. We pinned him to his work computer and via network controls actually got a picture of him from the corporate video camera system in place where he worked. Needless to say, his boss was not a happy camper when he discovered that one of his workers was using corporate computers to blast web sites with utterly reprehensible homosexual pornography. We threatened lawsuit but the individual's manager took care of the issue for us.
