your thinking would be wrong, annsni.

Using your logic, then those who are the most vocal against a Bibllical approach of trusting Christ completely to remove depression struggle with giving their depression over to Christ.

If you read my OP and apply the principle it will answer your question but even a birth defect doses not cause a person behavior problems. That is a personal issue caused by the heart. If drugs are the answer to behavior then we all need drugs and not confession and forsaking our sin.

Hormones do not cause a person behavior issues. It may increase the desire but no temptation has taken us which is not common to man and God will not allow us to be tempted above what we can endure.
The issue is sin not hormones. These women who use PMS or change of life as an excuse to be rude and ugly and impossible to live with are just sin deniers, not medical patients. They need their sin confronted, not drugs. The philosophy you are suggesting is why the church is in the condition it is in.

Hmm - that's interesting. And you have your medical degree from where?

I have both the Word of God and the DSM-IV on my computer.

I find the Word of God to be trustworthy.

From the website in the OP:

What will really happen if you make a copy is the rest of the world will be able to see you for what you really are.

I have reason to praise and rejoice on this 5th day of May 2012. I praise the Lord I do not have to endure sitting under your teaching and counsel.

I think that is the sentiment of much of the claimed church today. Most do not want here the truth as they would rather be dulled by drugs or have their ears tickled.

    I actually didn't ask a question.

My heart doesn't control my thinking process, my brain does. And if the brain is defective then so is the thinking process.

I am so glad that your are so mentally healthy and spiritually righteous, and sinless and don't suffer from any form of depression or distress.

    You are almost divine.

    I wish I was you

You never heard me say anything to that extent. I have suffered many of the things mentioned that are called mental illness. Attention disorder, bi-polar, depression and more. The difference is I have admitted that they were because of sin and rebellion and the Lord has dealt with them as He says He will. No drugs needed. Confess and forsake and find peace. Use drugs and remain in the trap.

Can you present Scripture to support your denial of mental illness?

That could be but I will confess it and be over it while many here are drugged into being zombies with their denials. Confess and forsake.

A lot of the nonsense posted on this Forum by two unnamed persons remind me of the drivel handed out by the "name it and claim it crowd" or worse yet the Word Faith heretics!

Just as I thought. You cannot support your claim.

So when you are faced with truth from scripture and do not have anyplace to go to back up your false teachings you slander? I ask you is that attitude from your pastors teaching or are you self taught?

Not if you will not answer me what I asked. I have to understand the question first. If you really want an answer answer my question. If not then I assume you are simply playing games.

Excuse me, but the drug i take simply replaces the minerals i am lacking.

It does not make me a zombie. It is mind altering by long term replacement of minerals, and it does not make me high, sedated or change my mental capacity whatsoever.

But after a few weeks of taking it, i no longer had the extreme mood swings that i suffered from before.

As a matter of fact, i am now able to serve my Lord and my church much better because now i am much more dependable. My service to God has increased dramatically since my diagnosis and treatment.

The drug i take is a gift from God, not a sin against God.

You and Fred have no right to judge others for needing help with mental illnesses.

    John

You are so correct. I learned many years ago that so often those who sing that song the loudest are telling you what they are not.
