Have a situation here that I do not know how to deal with. We have a cat that lives at our house. Whenever we pull into the drive she always comes running at the vehicle, but always gets out of the way. Well today she did not get out of the way and had one of her back legs ran over. She scurried away quickly into some bushes. I went after her and she shot out of the bushes into a forested area near our home. I have not been able to locate her. I want to get her to a vet and get some help, but I cannot find her. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

I expect she'll be hiding, probably not too far away, look in those places in which she could hide.

You can set a racoon trap (you may be able to borrow one from your local animal shelter). Put her favorite food in the trap and it will shut when she goes in. I had to do this one time when my inside cat slipped out and she was terrified and wouldn't come when i called her, but went into the woods to hide. I caught her in a matter of minutes.

This is a strange way to phrase a sentence, and you are usually very succinct in your posts.

Do you mean that you have a feral cat (that you don't own) that hangs around your house?

We own her as far as we have taken care of her since she showed up on our porch. We have provided her vet care and food. I have looked every where and put a trap out and found nothing :(

Cats are extremely habitual. They have an excellent sense of time. I think the cat, if it can, will return to a comfortable place. I hope, for your sake, it does. I would just frequent the cat's favorite spots.

My cat enriches my life. Even with the dead mice, birds, chipmunks, and other sorts of critter carcasses strewn about my yard.

Bro. Curtis, amazingly enough I believe you are exactly right. When I left the house this morning she was on the porch waiting for some food. She was not walking with a limp or anything. Going to get her to a vet when I get off of work to have her examined. But she was acting like her old self.
