Also, for those who claim Ashkenazi Jews living in present day Israel are not really Jews, DNA testing has proven otherwise.

It is difficult to tell at what point the common ancestor entered the picture. I'd be interested to know the percentages of Askenazi who are tested who show a connection to Sephardi, as opposed to how many do not.
