We had two fairy tale characters visit our house last night - Santa and the Tooth Fairy (my grandson pulled a loose tooth out the night before).

I got a nice button-down sweater, a shirt and a computer upgrade (I bought that for myself :tongue3:).

The real gift was watching my 2 grandkids open their gifts - then later going over to my parents and doing it again with my nephews, brothers and SILs.

I agree with Rob [also my name] that this was my real gift too. I received a sweatshirt with the handprints decorated on it of my grandkids, and a HCSB Study Bible.

    I received:

a wonderful fleece sweatshirt that is cute AND warm
loose leaf tea from the tea shop in town - it's brewing as I type this!
a gift certificate for a pedicure
    Yankee candles

My kids blew me away though. I bought a new bridle for Whirl in November after saving up during the year for it. It's a gorgeous one from England and the leather is like butter. The only problem is that it had a set of standard length reins and Whirl has anything but a standard length neck and I needed to get the long ones but didn't have the money. So my kids got me the extra long ones for Christmas!! It actually took me a little bit to figure out what they were!!

Forgot to add the gift from my in-laws!! Another year in the yacht club. :) They pay the year's dues and then some so that we can enjoy the benefits of being in the club.
