We had a few key families absent due to traveling to family out of the area but we had 44 adults in the service. I'm not sure how many kids we had. That is just about what we've been running each week so the key families were replaced with a few others.

Could it be that this past Sun was Ressurection Sunday? And some folks come faithfuly to church twice a year!

We had 29 this past week! Normally 20-25) Not sure how long it has been since we had so many.

We were up a bit in Sunday School, but several were out traveling.

Worship attendance was up significantly, not unusual for Easter Sunday.

One interesting sidelight; A lady whom I did not recognize walked in. I welcomed her and introduced myself, and asked the usual question: "What brought you to our church today?"

Her answer was, "I don't know. I just felt led to come here today."

She lived in a community about 15 miles from our church. I hope she returns.

We held our first service as a new church plant Sunday- had 17. I wasn't expecting that many, praise the Lord.

We are in the beginning stages of a church for the Deaf in West Texas. We have a wide-open field - no Deaf churches from Ft. Worth to New Mexico and from Lubbock to San Antonio.

Pray for Blessed Hands Baptist Deaf Church.

    Thanks!

I don't know how many were in church on Easter Sunday but there were more than last week and last week we had a little over 660.

Because of Easter Sunday and the people that attend twice a year. A church near my house literally doubled the cars in the lot at the time I normally drive by (from 7 to 16 cars.)

Thank you, Ann! We are excited to be here breaking hard soil. Most of our people are under the age of 25 so we are training the next generation.
