Having a biopsy tomorrow (gynecological). My doctor says he just wants to relieve his mind. I more nervous about the pain (no anesthesia) than the results. I would appreciate any prayers.

I must admit, it was very rough, but I'm grateful for the prayers and I know that's why I endured w/o crying, falling off the table, fainting, cursing like a sailor, or slapping someone. My doctor is a wonderful man who is very compassionate. He told me it was going to be rough and I don't think I could have had a better doctor to endure that with.

I'm grateful for the prayers. My anxiety level was very high and prayers, I believe with all my heart, helped me to just breath and stay calm.

He said he will call me Monday and to go home and not think about it. He's not overly concerned, so I'm not either. And I'm not going to think about it.

But frankly, I'm not expecting cancer at all. My fears were all about the biopsy itself. I appreciate the prayers.

    Well....

....I am malignant. Uterine cancer - early stages. The doctor thinks that I will just need a complete hysterectomy and that should be it but he won't know 100% until they look at the lymph nodes.

I'm not defeated nor upset. I told the doctor on the phone when he thought I was upset that "there's cancer...and then there's cancer". This cancer is fixable and quickly fixable.

I ask for prayer for my mother. I am going to have to tell her in a couple of hours and she is a worry-wart and emotional. Pray for her to be at ease.

My mother-in-law had a complete hystorectomy(sp?) in december of 2003 due to endometrial(sp?) cancer, and she's been cancer free since then. So, yes, this is a treatable disease that our Lord can take care of in less than a snap of His fingers......
