Historically and logically, Theology is the master university science.
Academic Theology was central in the development of higher education
at Paris, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale and Princeton.

The central critical issue in academic theology is final authority.

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures.

KJV John 7:38
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

While the entire line of scripture are records,
the outstanding record of scripture and the scripture of final authority
is the published text and form of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.

The Record Theory independently answers the questions of final authority
and final canonization (books and words). The dynamic Purified Text Theory
supports the Record Theory, demonstrated categorically and conclusively
in the manuscript evidence, bible canonization, bible doctrine,
billions of bibles and computational linguistics.

KJV Holy Bibles are the most published, read and loved bibles of all time.

AV 1611 Holy Bible

I wish to present my theory of final authority and final canonization,
not to doubtful disputation, envy, strive or contention
but in sincerity and love.

KJV Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye,
but not to doubtful disputations.

KJV Philippians 1:15-17
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife . . .
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely . . .
17 But the other of love . . .

#1. You cannot honestly state you have scripture if you believe
only the original manuscripts were given by inspiration of God.

There are no original manuscripts.

KJV But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness,nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commendingourselves
to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

#2. You cannot honestly say "the bible" or "all bibles"
are given by inspiration of God.

There are over 400 (Christian, Catholic, Cult) Greek, Syrian,
Latin, German, English, French, Spanish, etc. bibles
which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.

#3. You cannot honestly say "the Greek N.T." or "all N.T. Greek texts"
are given by inspiration of God.

There are over 24 reconstructed (Christian, Catholic, Cult) Greek N.T. texts
which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.

#4. All KJV Holy Bibles are editions of the 1611 KJV first edition.
The human finger prints (typographical errors, spelling errors,
missing words, etc.) further document the testaments and covenants
(records) between God and man. While the 1769 KJV Holy Bible
standardized spelling, corrected printer’s errors and is the select text today,
the text of the AV 1611 KJV first edition remains the principal canon authority
of Holy Scripture. There were no manuscript revisions of the 1611 KJV
until the 1881 RV (Revised Version), only spelling, measurements
and punctuation editions.

KJV For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:
but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

#5. God's words were given by inspiration of God.

KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:

#6. God predestined certain individuals to record the words of God.

KJV Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,
according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

KJV Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:
and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified,
them he also glorified.

KJV According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

#7. God providentially preserved and canonized the words of scripture.

KJV The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace
of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD,
thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

KJV Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

#8. Inspiration, predestination, providence and preservation
continued throughout final canonization (books and words)
and publication of scripture.

KJV For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me;
and they have received them, and have known surely that I came
out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

KJV Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

#9. The words of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible
were divinely transmitted, infallible, infinite and eternal.

KJV Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God,
be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

#10. KJV Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Dear Makahiya,
I know I've seen this post before somewhere.
Is it spam? It's very trollish.
I have great trouble following the logic in this theory of yours.

And every time you post you fail to answer questions raised.

Why even post such gibberish?

I am thankful I have any version that I can understand the Word of God. I prefer the NIV and NKJV, but would read any of them. After all, we all have an unlimited source of understanding in the form of the Holy Spirit in us. The Word allows us to know our Creator and Savior better. Endless arguments over shades of Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic never saved anyone.

I use the KJV, ESV, NASB, YLT and NKJV and others in study. I use the ESV for preaching and teaching.

Great profit comes from employing several versions.

You failed to prove your points or your theory. You do not answer the question of final authority with your unproven, inconsistent theory. You dodge and avoid answering any proper questions concerning your unproven claims.

Factual errors and inconsistencies have been pointed out and demonstrated concerning several of your points. A consistent application of your first three points would assert that the KJV translators were not honest.

Is your theory like a form of hyper-Calvinism since it appealed to predestination?

The text in the twenty of more varying editions of the KJV today is not identical to the text of the 1769 Oxford KJV. There would be 400 changes made to the KJV when compared to the 1769. Are you uninformed or misinformed concerning editions of the KJV? Have you ever examined the text of an actual Oxford edition of the KJV printed in 1769?

But even greater profit results when one uses translations with differing translational methods. The ones you itemized are all on the formal side of the ledger.

The "Psalm 12:6-7 thingie" is phony as a $3 bill, taken straight from Dr. Wilkinson's book. Please take time to read WHY this "thingie" is incorrect, in some other threads in this forum.

Changes to the KJV since 1611

Daniel B. Wallace, Ph.D.
Professor of New Testament Studies
Dallas Theological Seminary

The King James Bible contains 791,328 words.
There have been a grand total of 421 word changes.
The 421 total changes amounting to only five one-hundredths of a percent.

TOWARDS has been changed to TOWARD 14 times.
BURNT has been changed to BURNED 31 times.
AMONGST has been changed to AMONG 36 times.
LIFT has been changed to LIFTED 51 times.
YOU has been changed to YE 82 times.

Out of a grand total of 421 changes from 1611 to the present,
almost 300 of the 421 are of this exact nature !
Now let’s do the math...

By omitting changes of this nature, we now have about 150
(to be conservative) remaining changes. The remaining 150 changes
from 1611 to today are composed of printing errors, spelling standardization, and a few minor phrase changes.

This amounts to one one-hundredth of a percent of the text.

YOU has been changed to YE 82 times.

You are misinformed and uninformed about editions of the KJV. Evidently you have never compared the 1611 edition to today's KJV yourself.

The 421 count has been proven to be incorrect, and yet you keep repeating it. There are actually over 2,000 changes of the same type that were included in the inaccurate 421 count. You are repeating an incorrect count that actually includes less than 25% of the actual differences.

"You" in the 1611 was changed to "ye" over 300 times, not 82 times. Scrivener noted that "in 364 places they have altered the nominative you into ye (Authorized Version of the Bible, p. 104).

There have been a grand total of 421 word changes.

I already informed you before that the information that you quoted comes from KJV-only author D. A. Waite, not from Daniel B. Wallace. It may be possible that Wallace quoted Waite's claims in some article, but they are not Wallace's claims.

The claim that there have been a grand total of 421 word changes between the 1611 and today's KJV is false.

D. A. Waite has now revised his 421 count up to 1,095.

David Cloud wrote: “Waite found only 1,095 changes that affect the sound” (Answering the Myths, p. 79).

Concerning the list of over 2,000 that he was sent, D. A. Waite wrote: “Another man looked at the changes and came up with 2,000, but when I examined each of these, I found there to be only about 1,000 differences“ (Critical Answer To James Price‘s, p. 32). Waite asserted: “Another gentleman used his eyes rather than his ears and came up with 2,000 small changes of words. I analyzed his research and cut his total to only about 1,000 small changes of words” (p. 33).

Waite’s own new 1095 count would suggest that his original research method and list of changes was less than 50% accurate.

On what consistent, objective basis did he cut the total of over 2,000 in half? Was his analysis objective and fair or was it possibly subjective and biased perhaps in order to favor his own earlier count? So far as this author knows, Waite has yet to present or list which ones of the over 2,000 differences he chose to exclude and his reasons for excluding them. Did he possibly exclude some or many of them just to try to keep his own earlier research from appearing to be so faulty?

That's a nice thing to say, isn't it. I guess they didn't teach you manners back at deaf school.

FYI, I did not attend a deaf school, although I am deaf. Thus, your assumption is not only incorrect, but rude as well.

And manners have nothing to do with it. When someone posts the same inaccuracies over and over and refuses to interact with those who are trying to help him, it is obvious that he desires attention, and is not here to learn.

It was meant to be rude. Maybe a taste of your own medicine will show you what it's like to be on the receiving end.

At least I wasn't rude enough to tell you crawl back into a hole.
