Yes, I liked CalviBaptist very much. I think he was from Maryland if I remember correctly. I am glad they remind you of me.

Wiccans beware if Marcia is there.

She is too busy fighting the good fight against witchcraft to spend time here.

From my home state. I always wanted to go visit with him, but never did.

Last I heard I believe he had a serious illness...way to young.

I remember one thread with Ed Edwards. He actually thought Jesus was born on December 25 of the year zero. His posts were interesting to read.

Tater Tot. She was somewhere in the path of Katrina, went inland during the recovery and not a peep since.

Michael had a kind soul.....I dont think he got band...I think he just got tired of all the arguments.

also "Seekingthetruth" was a guy that I believe this board owes an apology. He had some difficulties with Manic Depression & some knuckleheads were trying to convince him his problems were self made from his being a sinner. After these er ...people needled him enough, he kinda snapped & the Board banned him. I have often wonder how he is & I pray for the mans balance & general well being. God help him.

I have kept in contact with Seekingthetruth over the years and he's doing pretty well. He has a good support system around him and he's back with his family. :)

I agree completely, Sometimes the authority here is most unchristian in the way they treat some members. It's almost as bad as some Baptist churches I have attended in the past.

Descended from Roger Williams. He was some sort of preacher I understand. The Davis side is best known for appearing as extras in the movie Deliverance. There's Morcoms on the maternal side. Cornish miners that moved to the Scranton area and continued mining until Grandpa died in 1961.

Jeff Davis family emegrated from Wales... the old name of Davies was changed to Davis. They origionally settled in Pennsylvania as miners then moved to Kentucky. Later they moved to Mississippi. My people stayed in PA...first Pittsburgh then later Scranton where Anthracite is big...I should say was. Ive just learned that one ofmy greatgra dfathers was in demand by all the coal mine owners for his design & implementation of pumps to extract water from the shafts...he later purchased a 100 acre farm in Upper Exiter Pa.

I agree. He was severely provoked and should not have been banned. He is a good person.

Yes I agree. I liked John. IMO those who were provoking him and angering him and accused him of being sinful for being on meds should've hit the road.

John will be back though, I think they are only banned for a period of time.

Ed Sutton was a GREAT poster and I learned a lot from his posts. Truly a man of God. I remember him posting about being sick and seeing how strong he was in his faith and being blown away. I remember his obituary being posted too.

Also I came after the whole M.E. thing when tons of people were banned. It's a crying shame those people were banned. Why? I'd like to hear more about it and its impossible on this board (the only online board I trust). I know most GES people hold to it and I've never disagreed with them before. Charles Stanley does too, I believe. Why is ME made a point but that loon HisWitness is able to post whatever trash he wants?
