Our wine is always fine. Welch's Grape Juice is usually what I see in the fridge. I have seen the Piggly Wiggly Brand in there a time or two.

There is a problem with the bread and there has been for quite some time. About 6 months ago, the "bread" was so stale it was like chewing on an old boot strap. It also had a foul taste to it. So, we got some new stuff. It was good until today. Back to the boot strap. Tomorrow, I'm going to find the stash and put it in the trash and replace it with _______________ (fill in the blank)

We usually use matzoh at the home church so that's what I'd go for. One church we went to used wonderful, fresh Pepperidge Farm white bread but I don't think it's quite as "authentic". LOL

Did they have cream cheese and strawberry jam to go with it? My wife goes through some cream cheese. She hides it in the bottom drawer to keep me out of it.

In Prague the Baptist church we attended used real wine from vineyards that German Baptist restored centuries ago. I just do not like the taste of alcohol and so I would follow the Anabaptist tradition of holding the bread and dipping just a tiny bit of it, in the wine.

In the states the church we attend uses grape juice.

Both uses FRESH bread. In Prague the rector's wife always supplied just baked bread. Here, at home, it is a freshly baked loaf of bread from a nearby store.

Personally I prefer unleavened bread, but I am not hung up on that as an absolute necessity.

Piggly Wiggly Brand ......and you BUY it rofl

I always loved Lollygobble Blissbombs......a caramelised popcorn,

and this as the most awful

My Favourite Brand......for methylated spirits which was refrigerated in a part of Australia where far too many sad sad people bought it along with the refrigerated orange juice ....to make white ladies, a concoction of the 2 to drink.

In one place where I went on spiritual retreats, it was a major concession that the owners of the property "The Salvation Army" permitted the use of wine for the Mass, as it was not permitted on the property as a rule.
