Was at work last night. One of my co-workers was telling me her rent is due today (Labor Day) but due to the holiday - they have until Tues.
Well, they are $200 short, and her husband does not get paid until Friday.

A little bit more about Stephanie. She attended an AOG church as a young child, becasue she was made to. As an older teen, she stopped going. As such it has been years since she has attened church. She met a fella about 10 years ago. Eight years ago they got married. Well, he is a Catholic and wants Steph to convert. She is willing - for the sake of the children.

    Actual prayer requests:
    1) their financial need will be met
    2) I will have the opportunity to witness to them.

    Sarge,

Just wanted to let you know that I'm praying about this matter---and I'm sure others on BB are too.

May God open up opportunities for you to minister to her.....especially for her greatest need.

    Interesting.

A while back I also found it interesting that you condemned a man for putting back milk (I believe) for some smokes. You never mentioned witnessing to him nor a need to do so.

The entire post was basically mocking him for his behavior -- but perhaps he is lost and needs direction, yet the objective was not about whether or not he was lost, it was directed at his behavior and was set out to ridicule him for his behavior. It sounded absolutely Pharisaical.

What I see is you had an opportunity to witness to this man in the past, but instead derided him for his behavior and posted this on BB.

    Hmmmm.

But now when it comes to denominational persuasions you're willing to 'witness'.

What if all three parties are lost?

I see this situation as a huge problem in the church -- it is expected that the lost behave as saved, then a person feels comfortable at being a 'witness' to them.

    smh

First, he was in & out. Second, to the best of my knowledge, I have not seen him again. Third - I do have to be careful how I witness, esp to customers.
I did post the info to get some input - partly wondering if it was just me or if others felt the same way.
