Where would this leave the churches of today? No microphones. No projectors. No use of computers in worship. No pianos. No organs. No contemporary church services ... the list could go on and on and on
    ............................

The organ was removed from St Bartholomew’s in Frankfurt in 1531.

No, I haven't. I have been to Quaker meetings and there was no instruments, singing, etc., only quietness until someone felt lead to speak.

I believe the Old Order Mennonites and the Amish follow the 'old school' pattern.

But the vast majority of churches today do not follow these rules and, IMHO, will never change to adhere to them.

Yep.... and thank God for that blessing to us old schoolers. I would encourage it though as an experience.

When I was in Israel last year on a mission trip we attended a Sudanese church service. No instruments other than a bongo drum, no fancy building other than a warehouse full of chairs and desks but plenty of worship.
