"How does my getting married in a gay wedding affect you? It doesn't!" ...
Now, if I may play devils advocate.
So, suppose this couple had a religious belief against inter-racial marriage - and thus refused to bake a cake for a white woman and black man who wanted to get married. Would we feel the same way?
That's what they want you to compare to so they can use that argument. It's immorality not race......apples and oranges.
But do some honestly believe that inter-racial marriage is inmorral? and if so - should they have the right to choose their customers?

Are there other legiminent reasons that a person should have the right to whithhold servicing a cusotmer?
Does this clerk have the right not to sell certian items?
Bottom line - with the cake - there are plenty of other bakerys they can go to.
To clarify -
If someone honestly believes that inter-racial..... and by racial I mean Caucasian, Negros, Orientals .......
That would be marriage involving two different people groups. There is only one physical race, the human race. The concept of 'race' is a man-made division that falsely divides the descendants of Adam and Eve.
Call it what you want - but if a person has a honestly held belief? Should he be made to violate his faith?
But I will accept this dictionary
My problem with this issue is why anyone would want to support any business who would 'discriminate' against them?
Why not just do their stupid cake? Give them their cake and let them eat it too. I would misspell a word on it. Or I might add too much salt. There are any number of ways to covertly mess the order up. That way they wouldn't be back to do business with me.
