Time to Ditch Mitch

Mitch McConnell has stiff opposition in the Republican Primary this spring. Matt Biven has pulled within ten points of McConnell. Matt is a business man, and an honest, hard working Christian. He is a strong supporter of the Constitution. He does not waiver on abortion or the 2nd Amendment. He is not a Democrat with a suit on.

Kentucky has sent McConnell to the Senate for thirty years. One day he is criticizing the Democrats, and the next he is French kissing them. He has no sense of direction or moral compass. This guy is the consummate politician. He takes off more days than he works, which, in a sense, is a blessing to the nation.

Anyway, check out Matt. He is honest, down to earth, and is willing to stand up for what he believes.

If Mitch does get past the primary, he has a very strong Democrat opponent. Some polls have her ahead. It would make no difference if she won, as she is more conservative than Mitch McConnell.

You see, the difference between you and me is that I live in Kentucky, and for that matter in the United States. You do not have a clue. You would not have a clue if you lived here. Since you have never lifted one finger to serve this nation, best thing for you to do is super glue your lips together. It seems odd to me that you now reside in a nation that stands for everything that Christianity and our Constitution does not. Maybe you should consider a long term stay. Instead of making meaningless posts on BB, maybe you should put them on strips of paper and put them in fortune cookies. You know, some extra money on the side.

Well, this should be interesting. Another state where the endorsed Republican isn't conservative enough for the Tea Partiers. In this instance I hope he beats McConnell.

Then they wouldn't agree on the issues. Strategies are everything regarding the issues. For example, the Great Pretender likes his idiotic, bankrupting ACA. Ben Carson, for example, would leave private health insurance companies alone and encourage, by making them 100% tax deductible, healthcare savings accounts. Both want to improve healthcare. But do they agree? Not even close.

d-CON, FYI, I like a lot of things Carson is on record for saying, a lot; but's it's early, he's yet to come under the scrutiny he's bound for from the right and the left.

IMO, 2nd amendment stance and foreign policy are two areas that I'm anxious to find out more about him. I'd particularly like to know who he would surround himself with as concerns foreign policy.

Pro-life
Cutting taxes
Marriage between one man/one woman
Strong military
Sanctions on Iran
Building Keystone pipeline
Drilling for more oil, not curtailing
Reining in the EPA
Cut spending, balance the budget

but how to go about these things might show differences.

However, Mitch will talk pro-life and marriage between one man/one woman all day long, but he won't spend a single ounce of political capital making these things happen. The only hill Mitch is willing to die on is the one that gets him reelected. I am sick and tired of Republicans who give lip service to conservative social causes but never do anything to fight for us. I don't know if Bevin is any different but I have to hope so.

If the Republicans do win a Senate majority, we'd better be praying now that it is with the Bevins' of the GOP, and not the McConnells'. The country is just barely better off with the GOP establishment in place than it is with Reid's socialists there instead.

Hmm...I said this way back in Jan. Mitch beat Bevin 60% to 36% in the Primary.

Exactly!!! And that goes for most States/Commonwealths as well as House Districts. 85-95% of all those running for re-election return to office.
