Today a thread was closed "with predijudice"

Excuse my ingorance, but what does that imply.

FTR - its not about the thread closed today - just curious

It means the moderator has a 'tude!

With and without prejudice are terms used in courts. If a lawsuit is dismissed, it can be with or without prejudice. With prejudice, it's over. No bringing it to court again. Without it, the lawsuit can be brought again. (short version)

The moderator had all he could take of the long standing childish sniping that was occurring on the thread. I don't blame him. Short of banning or suspending those involved, it's probably the best course of action for him to take.

I thought it was similar to court - just wanted to make sure.

Where is Perry Mason when you need him?
