A debate has arisen on FB about the issue if a woman can preach on the streets based off this book (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FL1WFK6/?tag=baptis04-20). The scriptures that I know of speak about a woman's role in the local church and noting to do with her role as an evangelist (1 Tim 2). Mark 16:15 says to preach the gospel to all of creation and that certainly implies woman. Other verses do not prohibit women from being evangelists (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15).
Some will try and stretch the scripture to make it say what they want it to say but if anyone has a good argument from scripture please cite it. But all passages I know of speak of her role in the local church, and not her role as an evangelist on the streets.
