What will Obama be remembered for?

So many put Obama down as the worst leader of the free world since Chamberlain of England and the worst President of the USA ever, but what will Obama be remembered for?

1. He kept the oceans from rising.

2.

He let us know what a second term for Jimmie Carter would have looked like.

Remember he is only 1/2 black

I never quite understand the relevance of this statement.

The question was 'what will Obama be remembered for' and one thing is certain he will always be remembered as the first black president. No one is going to care that his mother was white.

That was President Roosevelt who accomplished that some 80 years ago.

Thats true...I just wasn't there to see that one. But I suspect that the socialism of Roosevelt now resembles modern day Marxism....so maybe that's BO 's true accomplishment, ie ligitimizing Marxism.

The US may have become socialist in the 30s - she is still hardly Marxist.

And, actually, compared to the truly socialist countries of Europe her socialism is very tame.

Probably the best assessment of the Obama presidency that I have ever read. It is fair, balanced, and realistic.
Thank you.

Fair and balanced is the slogan of Fox News, which the Democrats hate, so you should stop watching it.

He'll be blamed for the policies the banks and corporations forced on us because Americans can't see the forrest for the trees.

To busy focusing on what the other side is doing to notice both sides work for the same global elite that really run the country.

Grin :). We don't get it here and I hate having to see half dressed girls on their website :).

You must be on CNN looking at their women.

At any rate, you did not list an accomplishment of Obama but a slogan of a tv company which you say features half-dressed women so I don't understand why you would use that slogan.

I think that Obama deserves credit for keeping the oceans from rising, which he promised to do for the people in Malibu such as Barbara Streisand.

Didn't have a clue I was using a slogan, just agreed with an assessment I liked. The question was not about an accomplishment, but about what he will be remembered for.

I will remember him for showing us what a Carter second term would have looked like.

Okay, I don't watch Fox news much either but that is their slogan--fair, balanced and unafraid, we report, you decide. I think that Carter is remembered for not backing down from the Soviets and the Camp David accords but he has since gotten involved with the Cuban and Venezuelan governments to his own personal discredit. I think it was C.S. Lewis who noted how following the news everyday is very bad for a person because the news is essentially negative day after day and there is nothing new under the sun, so I just sort of monitor the news as time permits.

Carter is remembered for long gas lines. Not much else.
