Which of the following governmental policies do you support?

    1. National security and the military should be given first priority over everything else.
    2. Labor unions should be outlawed
    3. Police should be given unlimited power
    4. Only one political party should be legal
    5. Intellectuals should be monitored closely
    6. Corporations must be protected from regulations
    7. Anti-homosexual laws should be passed and enforced

For some of you new folks around here the op is what is known as a trap. If you respond to it you deserve what you get.

The only job of the federal government should be to protect my rights. That includes military. "National Security" is an ambiguous term, and I would not want it used as the main force behind making policy.

I keep my eye on those who think Steven Colbert is a conservative. But other than that….I don't know many who call themselves "intellectuals." Do you consider yourself one ?
Ambiguous. Corporations have been regulated right out of business. I would need to examine them case-by-case basis.
What kind of "laws" are you talking about? I don't think the government belongs in marriage.

Why on earth would you want to outlaw labour unions.....your forefathers surely would roll over in their graves.....my forefathers went to a NEW WORLD where they could demand a living wage and opportunities for their children to become educated and not be ground down by inhuman work ethics.

I hope this was all tongue in cheek otherwise it sounds very fascist!

I would not outlaw them. I was curious if anyone on the BB would support such an idea.
