Here is a question left unanswered in another thread which is closed. It appeared no one was able to give answer, but then again it might have not had enough time before the thread was closed.

Why does God know what will happen in the future?

    a) God knows the choices people will freely make.

    b) God causes people to make the choices He chooses for them.

    c) Both a & b

    d) Neither - please
    explain

Due to His being God perhaps?

God knows the decisions people will make while being enslaved to sin being spiritually dead. Note Ephesians and Colossians specifically. Also John 8 (8:28ff for example). He is also aware of the decisions the converted will make after being set free, both the good, and the bad.

    Proverbs 21:1?

    Daniel 4:34ff?

In Acts Paul was forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach in certain places -- God is God and intervened, note Acts 16:6.

We must ask what does Scripture say? Is God God or is man actually God, or is God controlled by man via his alleged 'free will'? Interestingly enough some on forums believe man is in charge of God.

What say you brother after examining Scripture?

So you do see that people have freedom to make choices rather than God making the choice for them?

I have yet to see anyone post declaring man is in charge of God.

It appears we may believe the same, that is, that man is able to make choices, and also that God is able to intervene and force His hand.
