Had to go with CTB vs. Bro. Curtis as the best active one , although Rippon vs Saturn Neptune should definitely go down in the BB Hall of Fame.

Honorable mention should go to JDF and his feud with Sat/Nep. The former came in late but gave his dues.

Followthe way? That poster is pretty insignificant to me. Not sure how one reached that conclusion.

I propose each pair of feuders listen to or read a service online from the church of their rival.
Let's see if there's some common ground.
    Start linking away, boys!

Even if she was preaching against...women preaching?
What IS preaching, anyhow? I get the feeling that in reality, women might actually "preach" more than men. Haaaaa....

ROFL ... that can be taken in several ways.

There are many men with inferior complexes and try to take scripture, out of context of course, to infer that women cannot preach. Most of the best sermons I have heard in the last 20 years were by women ... in the States, in China and in the Czech Republic.

Everyone should listen to and accept truth where they find it.

I do find you an excellent example of why God bans women preachers.

That can only mean you view me as telling the truth about the gospel in my posts. I take that as a compliment.

I am very secure within my own skin. I have no problem listening to a wise woman speak. I have no hangups like some I could mention ... and it must come from an inferiority complex or that person would not be so hyper and defensive about so much ... and insulting to all who disagree with them. That is the mark of a very insecure person.

It would be the height of stupidity to not accept truth where you find it. For instance, you ignore a women who tells you an light socket is on a live circuit, but you ignore her because she is a woman, stick your finger into the socket and get a very nasty shock because of your male chauvinism. Now I admit that all analogies break down, but I think your see my point.

What a stupid thing to say.

We all know you are not hung up on what the bible says, save for two or three verses. And I didn't insult you. I said I couldn't listen to a woman preacher. You were the one who insulted, here. But like you said, it's an inferiority complex.

I see that you would rather make fun of a bible believer than to believe, yourself.

Yes, why did you say it?

Note, my reply was not in the in the singular.

No, just trying to explain the unwise position you take concerning women in an analogy that perhaps you might understand.

    Cheers brother.

I don't have a particular rivalry with Luke. I actually like Luke, because he is a REAL Calvinist, a Hyper-Calvinist, a consistent Calvinist. He is an Arthur Pink kind of Calvinist.

I respect that. I totally disagree with him, but I respect that he truly follows Calvinism to it's logical conclusions, unlike most who call themselves Calvinists here.

If ever I were to be a Calvinist (don't hold your breath), I would be a full-fledged, consistent, die-hard, hard-core, bad-to-the-bone Hyper Calvinist like Luke.

If you think that AWP was a hyper-Calvinist then why did he write things against their system? Have you ever heard of William Huntington (1745-1813)? Now there was a true H-C. AWP and Luke do not go to that extreme. But even Charles Spurgeon found some commendable things in Huntington.

The best rivalry is the one I don't recognize.

One where the posters are so considerate to each other that they prove to themselves and others that they respect each others position despite their disagreement.
