Though i hate to admit it, Chelsea have the whole thing wrapped up. Liverpool won't beat them.

The only thing that would be worrying would be AC Milan. Milan will give them a tough time i think,

Yeah but i don't mind it when it goes in my favour. Liverpool won't win the final though so i won't even get my hopes up.

Sorry Roger, I am still sore. I don't believe Liverpool scored, and I am not surprised Chelsea failed to score given they were playing Kezman who has to be one of the worst players ever to pull on a Chelsea shirt.

I agree with Mourhino - "The best team lost."

Kezman is a joke. he cant score, header, and you almost have to cheer when he holds the ball for more than 2 seconds. and if anyone mentions the wannabe Chelsea player T**go, I'll see to it that they get BANNED!!! i actually saw a headline that said TIAGOAL, i was like, do we have the same player here? but good for L'pool, they were for the most part lower class, but defense was solid. Luis Garcia's "goal" never crossed the line, but Chelsea shouldnt have dwelt on that and should have just picked up and kept playing, and they didnt. Gudjohnsen and Terry and Carvalho were the only ones trying it looked like. but wat can you expect from dopes like Geremi, Tiago, and Kezman "playing"

Those who say AC Milan will beat the Reds will once again eat their words on May 25th. Some people simply don't want us to win. I wonder why  ....Maybe it has something to do with the fact that their teams are not at the place where every team longs to be and where every fan dreams about his team being.

Having knocked out the 2 best teams already (Juventus and Chelsea) and having beaten other fantastic teams (bayern leverkusen, Valencia, Olympiakos etc) I dont think Liverpool have anything to fear.

Having seen AC come so close to going out, I fear them even less now. They are suspect at the back with their ageing defense. Liverpools pace will cause them many problems. Also, we'll have Alonso back for the final

With Gerrard, Alonso, Garcia, Cisse, Baros, Riisse, and Carragher all fit, we can beat anyone in the world in Europe. We won't be playing for a 2 legged result either so we will go for it. We will scare those italians like we did against Juventus. Juventus liked to play nice slow controlled, pace killing football. Liverpool wouldn't let them. Same will happen to AC Milan.

I was not surprised that PSV almost won the tie as I personally feel they are the better team. I also feel Juventus are a better team than AC Milan and Chelsea definetley are. We beat both. Rafa will do his homework again On AC Milan and will come up with the right strategy for for the game...He is a mastermind in Europe.

As for Chelsea and the goal....The linesman has confirmed to everyone again that he is 100% sure that the ball crossed 100% of the line. Naturally, everyone associated with Chelsea will dispute this, as would I, but who knows.
The fact is, Chelsea have had some luck of their own at times and they have also cheated. Just look at the Gudjohnsen acting incident, to get Alonso booked in the first leg. The simple truth is that Liverpool out-thought Chelsea over the 2 legs and most chelsea fans I've come across are very sore in defeat (apart from Roger) ....I'm not surprised tho. While there are 11 ego's out on the pitch, there are thousands more in the stands who are unwilling to accept that Chelsea can't always have it all their own way.

I'm just glad Rafa and his men are down to earth. Jose could get a few lessons in being graceful in defeat before next season starts.

I noticed Roman hardly seemed bothered at all by Chelseas exit. I wonder if when he starts to get bored with his new hobby, everything will seem as rosy.

I'd choose a team of gladiators anyday over a team of egos.

Come on Reds Y N W A

Still sore. I confess it. Still, Rich, I hardly think you can accuse Mourinho and Chelsea of being less than gracious in defeat, when you launch an attack upon the club and its fans in victory.

I honestly wouldn't have minded losing had not Liverpool played ten men behind the ball in BOTH legs, and then go through on a controversial goal. Well, that's football. That's why I love it. And probably by the time Istanbul rolls around I will be over my pain, and wish Liverpool well. (BTW I still can't believe a man from London supports Liverpool).

I'm a scouser in a Londoners body lol

I didn't launch an attack. I stated fact. Chelsea players and their manager are all saying *we should be in the final* blah blah...I've read it in the papers and seen them on tv saying it.
Nevermind.

Scarey stuff!

Well, I'm over it now. I think it is a little to early though, to talk about a Reds revival. I don't even care should Liverpool win it, if they are allowed to defend their title, as long as it is not as the expense of Everton, which, I am glad to see is also the opinion of the FA. Enjoy Istanbul - or will that be "Istanpool" ( I should write for the tabloid sports pages!)

And here lies the fallacy of the whole competition. They are the champions of champions, even though they are the champions of nothing! Good thing for them they weren't playing Crystal Palace in the final.

Yes Rich, but remember the words of the sage "Stolen waters are sweet." (Proverbs 9:17). We were robbed! :(
