When I open air preach, speak with people, pass out tracts, and write letters I trust in this doctrine and that God draws the elect, and grant them faith and repentance enabling them to believe. So this is why I am not discouraged when I get few replies or conversions, as another reason is because according to Romans 1 people suppress the truth in these last days, but I evangelize solely for the glory of God.

The Bible is quite clear that God is the one that does the saving, and salvation is a supernatural work (Jon 2:9; John 1:12-13; 3:5-8; 6:44; Eph 2:4-5; Tit 3:5). A great verse to illustrate this was given by Luke in Acts 16:14 "One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message"(NIV). All Paul did was preach the gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

My authority is strictly the Bible and all books that I read are filtered through the scripture. It is not Calvinism, it is the scripture. Reformed theology best represents the scripture, but its not without its problems (eschatology) for one.

Reformed theology refers primarily to soteriology. And there is no monolithic eschatological belief among Reformed-minded folks.

Would say that would apply mainly though to calvinists who are not strictly reformed, as among reformed proper nethren, pretty much all hold to A Mil!

Except for myself, MacArthur, Steve Lawson, and a multitude of other Calvinist Bible Churches and Baptist Churches. But regardless a secondary issue. Perhaps my eschatology is incorrect but I am not sure.

This is, ostensibly, the scripture you are referring to:
Yet you claim this scripture in Romans refers to the actions of people in the last days. I would say Paul is quite clear that this has been a habit of man since the beginning. It's not something specific to people in the last days, because then you would have to have a verified set date of the "last days." We can claim all we want that the time we now live in is the "last days," but people have been arguing that since the time of the writing of the Epistles of Peter.

Some of us believe that the only thing keeping the Lord from coming back is the Longsuffering of God in desiring that more be saved. Some of us don't believe that we have to wait on certain things to happen, or for certain political powers to regain prominence, for the Lord to return. We have basically been in the "last days" since Christ ascended, even though, as of this writing, it may be another 500 or a thousand years before Christ returns. We just don't know.

That is why I see a distinction between Reformed Calvinists and Baptist Ones, are traditional many Baptists have held to more Dispy end time views, while Reformed mainly A Mil!

What about Calvinist Bible churches? The one in my area holds to dispensational eschatology and the five points.

that was my point, as many Baptists churches consider themselves to be Calvinistic, but not strictly Reformed!
