    To speak, write or type in a plain way can stretch the mind. I know at first it would not seem so, but it does. To do this makes us use more care. It makes us think. The way we use speech in this way is much like a small child, but at the same time not like a young boy or girl. Think about it. You can use your skills when you are not on this board. But in this thread you have to walk a slim path and that means new skills will have to come. If not, you will lose. The rules are round us each way we move in this game. Rules never stop, they go on and on. Can we face the hard turns and yet make clear words?

    To do this task we have to use some forms of make, and way. Are there words that you find you have to use in this thread, even though you do not want to use them so much? Let me add words, want and use to the list. And that list may grow long in time. Boy, it is hard to say more of this. I will stop for now.

    Tell a tale.

    Mind you, I will do this on the cuff.

    Once, in the far, far past there was a boy. He was boy like no one else. He had...

    Peeps is slang for people. But, yeah, I blew it with city. I should have said towns.

    Use the word folks.
    You should have said :in a town or : in towns

    Most folks in a town with deep snow...

    Most folks in towns with deep snow...

    Look at my first post. Read line four.

    I got lost in a town once. One horse town it was. Full of dust, nose full, lungs full of that dust. Coughs and hacks a lot. I had a yen to ask the boss there why there was so much dust. He just blew my off like snot.

    I left that dust bowl town that day to not return. I still have thoughts of all that dust in my head. I had to thumb my way home; I still have not found my car keys. Must have been lost in a pile of dust.

    I am in awe that this game is now on page three. I guess you folks like to write in short words.

    Some words can hide in plain sight, not seen by our eyes. Some words sit like bright lights on the page; if you look for them.

    Oh, I still have the car keys I found in my truck.

    Due to much (much!!) ice, I am on day two of an ice day break from school. When you look out, it looks like white snow - clean, fun, and bright. But NOOOO!! - it is ALL ice. Not one flake of fun.

    Too much ice can wreck your day, for sure.

    Try to drive on the grass, if you can see it. If not, I would use snow shoes and a mule, if you can find them. Put the snow shoes on the mule. They might be in the ice, though.

    Ice you say? Flakes you want? I have tons of flakes in my yard free to those who want it.

    Flakes you said? Well, there are a bunch of them on here, too.

    Ice and snow. Hot sun and deep floods. God sends them all, een hail to hill and dale.

    He sends mean winds, strong storms, blights and quakes. And there will be more and more as the clock rounds.

    Wars now are and will be. To list the things that sin has brought brings me to my knees.

    But thanks to God He will make an end. We shall live with Him in that land when we die in Him. The word sky is too weak to tell of it. It will be pure joy. Not for streets of gold do I yearn nor for the rooms He has made for me. No,the one thing I long --to see the face of the One who took my place on the tree.

    God is my shield, my faith, my hope, my life, my love. In Him, I shall not want...

    In the Psalms it is hard to find a verse with only short words.

    I had to change this one a bit --do you know where it is?

    Verses 14 and 15:
    But I trust in you, Lord;
    I say, 'You are my God.'
    My times are in your hands;
    save me from the hands of my foes,
    from those who chase me.

    Verse 24:
    Be strong and take heart,
    all you who hope in the Lord.
