Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

I have shared my walk with Jesus Christ with my brethren and those of like precious faith. But in all honesty I have never that I know of witnessed. Don't stone me but to me it is a foreign concept. Life is a struggle and being honest to the Lord my brethren sometimes I hang my halo on my horns. How can I persuade anyone to follow Christ being the two-fold man that I am? Flesh and Spirit each warring against the other daily. The only way I can do that is show them Christ by my attitude and walk. I believe truthfully unless God has changed that cold and stony heart no man will be drawn to Jesus Christ. After all that Paul told Agrippa, why did Agrippa not become a Christian? All the evidence was layed out Acts 26:1-28 and all the truth was before him.... Comments... Brother Glen

Its not men that does the persuading, its God the Holy Spirit that Persuades men into belief. God the Spirit may use the Testimony of men, but , men are nothing, God gives the increase 1 Cor 3:6-7

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

The Spirit gives the Fruit of Faith, and that is what persuades. The word Faith pístis means:

pístis (from 3982/peithô, "persuade, be persuaded") – properly, persuasion (be persuaded, come to trust); faith.

We witness to people in our day-to-day life. People watch our 'walk and talk' even when we don't think they do. Here's an example...

We have a pug we love dearly. I have given her so many nicknames, I'm surprised she doesn't have a complex of some sort. One nickname I have called her is 'bum jr.' seeing how she stares holes through us while we're eating. One day our niece came down for a visit. She was about 7 or 8 at the time. She was setting at the table eating, and there was Lexie doing getting her 'bum jr.' on, staring at her. My niece looked at her and called her 'bum jr.'. She picked up on me calling our pug that.

We are noticed for our good and bad even when we don't know it...

This is a difficult passage, even to know for sure how the Greek should be rendered.

In the end it was because he didn't exercise faith. It sounds like he was convicted. Paul wanted him to believe. And God wants all men to repent and doesn't want any to perish. So the blame is Agrippa's alone, and judging from all the light that he was given, his punishment will be all the greater.

He didnt have any Faith, no man by nature has it, for its the Fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

That word faith as stated earlier has to do with being persuased, which is exactly what the King said he was not, he was not persuaded. Men cannot persuade other men into being a Believer, unless the one being persuaded has the fruit of Faith by New Birth ! The Credit of persuading goes to God, not man, you sound like a boaster ! Boasting about exercising Faith , when someone else doesnt ! As like Faith is a natural ability of men !

Agrippa had the faculty of faith to believe in Jesus but didn't exercise it, and (perhaps apologetically) Paul says that he knew Agrippa believed the prophets and then was urging him to commit himself to Jesus Christ. But Agrippa was unwilling.

Paul's language assumes that Agrippa has the faculty to believe. That's good enough for me.

27 King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe.”

Acts 26:28 **Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

Acts 26:29 **And Paul said, “I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

Read where john Bunyen always made sure to credit a poor unknown lady who always talked to him about jesus while he was still lost, and also that someone else was saved by God using a shoe salesman as his witness to him..
