Your position reminds me of a young, brilliant man from England who insisted that the English have no prejudices of any kind. He was well meaning. He was sincere. He was sincerely wrong.

Racism is alive and well here. It is not like it was when I was a kid and thank God for that. But we have far to go. If we will not face our problems, no matter how uncomfortable they make us feel there will never be any progress in correcting them.

How are your rights being infringed upon? I would welcome free speech on this topic, free speech that is rational, unemotional, realistic and intelligent. So, please reply with rational replies and not emotional rantings.

I do not believe you really intend to stop our free speech. I do think that this topic has pushed you out of your comfort zone. That is not necessarily a bad thing as when that I happened to me I have to sit back and rethink my position ... and why does this make me uncomfortable.
