Barnabas -- I know he owns the joint, but he is a wonderfully supportive owner to have around when I'm busy being sharkbait down in evolution/creation!

John Wells -- he is getting baptism with fire as a beginning moderator on that same board and doing an outstanding job.

Saggy Woman -- when I need to smile I look for her name. Sometimes just the name is enough! But her posts show a sense of humor and a wonderful faith. She's the sort of person I wish lived next door!

Joy -- works hard here, lovely personality, shares her faith

KeeperofmyHome (did I do that right?) -- good solid straight stuff. I love reading the posts of all three of those women and I appreciate who they are in Christ.

Let me give honorable mention to John Paul down there in cr/ev. He's been a marvelous support! There are just an awful lot of awfully fine people here. Good work, guys and gals!

I agree with The Squire. If you look at our current threads, Mr. Vaughn is the obvious authoritarian on our subjects. I'm new here but I know authority when I see it.

May God bless you

John Wells- for his kind spirit and straight forwardness.
Pastor Larry- though he gets on my case alot :D , he has good information and makes me think and pray and read alot.
Thomas Cassidy- Lots of good information and quiet helpful.
Chris Temple- Though we don't always agree, he always provides plenty of scripture to back up what he says.

I wish I could nominate more but these are the ones that I think make me think, I think???

God speed.

1. Chris Temple.....Solid beliefs, and he's
willing to share his knowledge with
everyone, doesn't limit his interaction to
just the ones who are at his level.
2. Joy.....for her TOTAL patience and sweet,
understanding spirit. She's also got a lot
to teach if she'd come out more! :D
3. Barnabas.....Straightforward, truthful,
friendly, knowledgable, just all around
he's got it all!
4. preacher.....down to earth, wonderful
person who teaches straight from God's
word. What more could ya ask for?
5. Dajuid.....he's Dajuid! He's perfect! If
you can tell me one thing he's ever said
that was wrong or wasn't sweet or that
wasn't solid truth I could probably prove
it wasn't him that said it.
6. Joseph Botwinick.....don't see him nearly
as much as I used to, but he definitely
gives this board personality and a touch
of color! Gotta love it!
Hey, that's how we count to five in MY house! YOU pick the one to take out, lol...I tried....I CAN'T! It was hard enough stopping there! :( Do I get in trouble for that?

I am sorry, but I can't make a 5 list all at once. I have to think this through, and I gotta do it one at a time.

My first nomination is:

1.) Barnabas Halo mainly because I really admire how he deals with people. I know I have said this many times before, but he is kind and compassionate yet straightforward and godly. Those are qualities I wish I coul emulate.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking and who I would like to nominate! Barnabas can tell you off and you'd go away feeling edified! LoL He has a WONDERFUL sense of humor and has the most loving, gentle kind spirit!

2. John Wells - I recognized right from the beginning of my stay here at BB that this man was someone I should listen to. He is always ready and willing to teach with love. I truly enjoy having him here!

3. Flyfree (Adam) - I think here is a great kid who is SOLD-OUT for Christ! Not only is he funny, he is SMART! He reminds me that everyone is our teacher...from the gray haired folks right down to the babies!

4. Helen - I have exchanged very little dialogue with Helen, but I am always reading her posts! I am in awe of her extensive knowledge and appreciate her "I can relate" posts! She is truly an uplifting person!

5. Dr. Bob Griffin - Ok, here's a guy who is smart, funny and charismatic. His biting sarcasm leaves me in hysterics! Sure he can be gruff at times, but that is what makes Dr. B who he is! I love his posts and I enjoy his website!

Ok, there's my list! I hope one of them wins!

Kathy

P.S. Can I give an honorable mention to the following? I feel like I don't want to leave anyone out!

Joy2
Gina
KeeperofmyHome
HankD
Dajuid
Chris Temple

Oh boy, I better stop, the list could go on and on....hehe

I would like to nominate Barnabas Halo. It has been his goal all along to emulate first Jesus Christ, and then his namesake- Barnabas, Son of Consolation. He is truly an encourement and an exhorter, just like his name means ;) I saw early on when the BB fisrt started, that BJH was the glue that kept us together. He is without a doubt one of the most respected men here! ;)

2.) Preacher would be my second nominee. I think it has to do with quietness and humility of spirit. I don't know that I agree or disagree with more of his posts, but what I see is genuineness, softspokenness, and a concern for his brothers and sisters in Christ.

I strongly second that!!
His calm, informed, Christ-like demeanor is a model for everyone on this board. And I learn a lot every time I read his posts.

Behind him would be Jeff Weaver, tyndale1946,
and Clint Kritzer for contributing with him
to a thread that ought to be on the "best of"
part of the board.

The fifth one would be Saggywoman. She sure
knows how to say a lot in a VERY few words.

I have such a hard time with things like this because I do not want anyone to feel left out. I have come to know a lot of great people here, and have made some good friends. And this list really extends past just five!

In no order,

1. Pastor Larry. He is someone who really knows and understands the Bible. And he
does an extremely great job teaching here on the BB. I agree with nearly all of his post.

2. John Wells. He has done an excellent job with those who are lost here, and he is
someone I have come to greatly respect. He also sticks to the Word of God.

3. Lorelei. She is very humble and is ready to listen to what anyone has to say, as long as it is from the Bible. She also has a great ability to articulate her thoughts and I have learned from her studies.

4. Chris Temple. This guy shows a wonderful Christian Spirit and is also knowledgeable
about the Scripture. I have truly enjoyed his intellectual impute. He probably does not realize how much he has taught me.

5. Dr. Bob Griffin. He is an excellent moderator. He answered a question for me via
e-mail and he was extremely kind. He also has some excellent thoughts that people don't usually think about.

I wish I could list everyone who I have great respect for. Those here who are zealous for the Word and takes the time to write Biblically based threads are the names that I rarely pass up the opportunity to read from.

With love,

Chet
