I maybe know of 3, but I'm curious as to what systematic theology books are out there that hold to an Arminian/non-reformed view.

Ryrie's "Basic Theology". It was a required text-book when I attended the Word of Life Bible Institute back in the 80's.

Required reading for United Methodist seminarians is the Complete Works of John Wesley.

That works out to about three thousand dollars and hours that you will never get back. Been there; didn't have any money left for the t-shirt. The entire set is considered the standard reference works for Wesleyan theology even though only two volumes would be considered systematic in anyway.

Did he ever explain then just why we could lose salvation, or obtain sinless perfection state?

Scattered throughout Volumes 1-4 and 10-11. There is probably close to 1000 pages on the subject. You can find some of his sermons here at Northwest Nazarene University and search by title here.

I got a receipt and the standard ordination question, "Are you in debt so as to embarrass you in your work?" Duh, you just charged me $40,000 to attend one of your schools. Hello!!

As noted in post 12 above, there is a variety of Non-Reformed systematic theologies. However, they also would not be self-classified as Arminian or Wesleyan.

LOL...right. I definitely understand that. Seminary is sooooo expensive. However, I don't think I've spent more than $3500 in my 2 1/2 years.

27 volumes at $100 a pop. That was back when the only place you could buy books was at the bookstore on campus. I was held captive by the mechanism of United Methodism: their seminary, their writers; their publishing arm; open hearts, open doors; open wallet..... And then I only used three or four of them for assigned reading.

Squire said, "As noted in post 12 above, there is a variety of Non-Reformed systematic theologies. However, they also would not be self-classified as Arminian or Wesleyan." There is a series of letters between John Wesley and George Whitefield. Whitefield was an ardent Calvinist and did not hesitate to criticize Wesley and his form of Arminianism. The tone of Wesley's letters - while gracious - was there is Calvinism and then there is right. I cannot recall Wesley ever claiming to be an Arminian but he was certain to let Whitefield know his opinion about Mr. Calvin.

Has anyone read any of Norman Geisler's Systematic Theology?? Like Deacon said it's borderline Reformed so I would think those who are Reformed would be dissatisfied with it while those who are not Reformed would disagree with it.
