No, I do not consider Dr. Carson the best GOP candidate but I am a regular Republican and I always vote the slated candidates. I think that his race is against him in view of the disaster called Obama. I think that he would be a terrific Secretary of Health and Human Services.

He's a laughable candidate and far less qualified than the unqualified Barack Obama that the GOP scoffed about in 2008.

Best Candidate at this time. He wants the people to take back the concepts this nation was founded on, that of a government of the people and by the people. Not rule by Executive orders. He advocates lower taxation for everyone.

The one I would really like to see run probably won't and that is J.C. Watt.

Insufficient data on him right now but on the surface he seems preferable to most of the others.

Depends on whether I sniff an 'interventionist' in him and who he intends to surround himself with as advisors.

    You may be right.

Not really, when you consider Obama wasn't qualified at all.

He will never make it to the general election.

The Z-Man must be a racist since he thinks that Carson is "far less qualified "

From what I have seen - he appears to be a good candidate- and I possibly could support him. Of course 14 months is a long time. Will be looking forward for the Republican debates.

No. He's the smartest but not the best. The two are not linked in elections.

The reality is that some MD/PhDs could do well running a country, but most would be utter failures. Intelligence is a vice in politics. You make amazing points, have coherent policy, and are able to articulate well your vision while also being a razor sharp debater...however, the media savvy opponents end up destroying an intellect because of manufactured controversies and missteps.

That said, he's still not the best candidate. He lacks significant executive experience and hasn't provided a platform worth supporting beyond the rhetoric against the Democratic establishment.

I actually think Carly Fiorina is one of the top three running right for the Republicans right now. She's got a solid platform, credible experience, and has the moxy to get deep into the primary election cycle. Jeb Bush is another one, even though he's got the whole Bush dynasty problem, because of his fine leadership of Florida. The last of the top three for me is Senator Rubio.

    That said, I'm not a Republican...or Democrat.

I won't be voting for any Republican or Democrat in the general election. They are at the heart of the corruption of this country and destroying its core. Both parties need to be taken out of control of Washington.

None of the current Repubs will make it to the general election. Like Huck. He became a multimillionaire with his last run. And he's looking to rake in more dough by making another run. There will be new book deals and they can all up their speaking engagement fees. Some might get a tv or radio talk show.

But the GOP nominee is likely to come from Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Rick Perry, or Rand Paul. I give Huck an outside chance, but I'm just not really sure he really wants to win.

If he were to be elected, I would trust that his intelligence would direct him in appointing knowledgeable men to his cabinet.

So, would you say you are more conservative or more liberal

Neither. There are more options than the dichotomy you've presented.

Dr. Carson is a good person and a brilliant doctor! Clearly, he knows how to undo the boondoggle called Obamacare and save the American medical system from the ruin of the selfish Democrats.

Also, Dr. Carson in debate with Hillary could give Hillary a much needed checkup from the neck up.

He is not my first choice but I would certainly support him if he wins the nomination. I would rather see him as vice president!

Are your racist tendencies showing or is it your Marxist inner self?
