I guess my 1st question is...can anyone find one scripture sayin we are heading for heaven when we are changed in the twinkling ofan eye?
the Millennial Kingdom will begin with only born again and physical believers entering into it.
Hello Darrell C
Because you posted no scripture to prove your point youre saying its only speculation that we are heading to heaven at the 1Cor.15 event. And this speculation is based on speculation about how our bodies will be be in the kingdom {1000yr rest} and in heaven?

Hey DC
Where do you find above statement in scripture?
Luke 17:30-37
King James Version (KJV)
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
This refers to physical judgment, and these are they of Revelation 20 who are not raised at the end of the Tribulation. They are raised a thousand years later to stand before the Great White Throne.
Luke 17 is descibing the Day of the Lord. Which certainly does not happen after the 1000yr period of rest
That was my point. This is what happens when Christ returns.
It shows the death of unbelievers. The "bodies" in view are carcasses.
Or do you think Matthew 24 and Luke 176 speak about two different events?
God bless.
F A FAMILY, AND I WILL BRING YOU TO ZION: [15] And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. [16] And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. [17] AT THAT TIME THEY SHALL CALL JERUSALEM THE THRONE OF THE LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

I believe the passage that you quoted "twinkling of an eye" is abundantly clear.
What makes you doubt it?
I doubt no scripture. In that scripture you will find nothing about headin to heaven at the 1Cor.15 event.

Do you doubt scripture above? Clearly says when the "bride" is gathered its off to Jerusalem. Not heaven
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
We receive a body that possesses the qualities of immortality. Why?
Jeremiah is speaking to Israel. This is not relevant. Deal with the NT.
The verse says "flesh and blood will not "inherit" the kingdom of God, and that is what it means. It does not inherit the kingdom of God. It says nothing about entering the kingdom of God. Don't distort Scripture. Obviously Jesus entered heaven with a body of flesh.Cause flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom. Like the scripture says...we shall all be changed before headin there
I believe Matt.24, Luke 17, 1Thes.4, 1Cor.15 are all speaskin of same event
You do believe you are part of the bride. Yes.
MATTHEW 24 [36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. [37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [40] Then SHALL TWO BE IN THE FIELD; the ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, AND THE OTHER LEFT. [41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, and THE OTHER LEFT.
One taken the other left. So where shall they be taken to?
JEREMIAH 3 [12] Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou BACKSLIDING ISRAEL, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. [13] Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. Verse 14. One taken the others left.
I am married unto you! The bride.
The WORD of God says the bride will be taken to Zion. To Jerusalem, for the kingdom rest. Not heaven
